KK Hibachi&Sushi — Restaurant in Louisville

First things first, I want to say, “Thank you for bringing something different to Louisville.” We can only choose from one of our 34 pizza shops or fast food joints so often.

Anyway, service was friendly, helpful and attentive, even as it was dinner rush. Place is clean and you can see everything being prepared. That’s always a plus.

My drive is only 5 minutes and I was handed the food as soon as it was done. Got home, everything was hot and looked great. Two steak hibachis and one chicken. Fried rice, veggies, and noodles to split. Steak was asked for medium.

1. Should have went medium rare, since it continued to cook on the drive home. Tough, little flavor.
2. Chicken had more flavor but was pretty dry.
3. You get enough rice to feed a family of 10. Was ok. Also somewhat bland.
4. Noodles were ok. Veggies seemed straight out of a Birdseye bag. 🤷🏻‍♂️

$50 for three dinners (plus one order of sushi; it was “fine.”)

Value? For the portions, fine. Taste, not great. We will probably give it...

Every time I come its a horrific experience, not limited to having an excessive liquidity bowel movement I couldn't even make it home without my stomach wanting to deplete the waste that was fed to me. Upon arriving the wait time was 20 minutes when there were two sections open we did have a reservation upon sitting down the cook notice that the trays where they put sauces were dirty so he had to keep sifting through bowls to find a clean one for us, the eggs were burnt so that by the time the rice was mixed with the eggs, there was burnt particles all throughout the rice I’ve came here two years ago, and I had the same experience with terrible food. I’m not sure what kind of meat they are using, but this needs to be reported to the health department I will not...

Crab Rangoon - They were burnt to a crisp. Filling ended up in the fryer I'm sure. It was like eating razors. We didn't and couldn't finish them. Spring rolls - They are pretty much the same as the Goons. Not good. Clear Broth - Very meh. Flavorless. Sushi rolls - Not the worst not the best. Seemed dry and old. Vegetable Noodles - Too much oil not enough flavor. They were broken before they went in the water to cook them. Never break noodles to cook them. Fried Dumplings - Not bad. Boom Boom Shrimp - Pretty good.
