Updated 9-4-2025 Well looks like it was an indication of how this Panda will be. PLEASE anyone that first times here do not let it be your final judgment on this place. This is plagued by the Dixie Hwy restaurants. First few weeks are decent, when all of the trainers and correct Panda employees are there. Now it's mainly the lazy locals, working here. Update 7-6-2025 I hope this isn't an indication of how this Panda will be... first few days, great service and food. Today went in areived 830p, 2 hours before closing.. some snarky young girl with bright red lipstick and caked on white makeup. "Helped" started to order "bowl and plate with super greens" she looked back to another girl "do we have any super greens?" She looked back at us, "We don't have that, you need to choose rice or chow mein" Neither of which I can eat. No offer to wait a few minutes from her like any other time I've been to Panda, I've reviewed several lovations in louisville and Indiana. Then was done. I tried to call and discuss with someone there, but called the phone number listed and no one answered, rang 2 times that was all. "This number is unavailable " This is a round opening June 26th 2025. I went in there, I ordered my usual. I would get from every other panda, super greens, double honey sesame chicken, chicken eggrolls. I had about a minute. Wait time on the super greens because they were out, which is perfectly fine with me. Speedy service, the line was almost non existent. Of course, they had about 15 or more employees in there. Due to opening, I'm assuming unless they plan to keep that. Many people employed afterwards, which I doubt based off of other pandas. This layout is a little different than other pandas. I've been in looks like they have some round tables with pull out chairs and a couple long tables cafeteria style. The super greens plate, small drink and two chicken egg rolls was just about $16. I'm definitely coming back. I love panda. I'm glad we have one here on our side of Dixie. I've heard talks of one coming in valley station, but this one was much needed for the area, I think.

It's my first visit. I got an order to go. I ordered the 'Bigger Plate' with orange chicken, broccoli beef, and I thin it was Kung Pao chicken, chow mein and an eggroll. The eggroll had a different taste than I'm used to, and the wrapper texture was odd. The chow mein seems to be noodles and shredded cabbage. The noodles had a bit of a gummy texture. The broccoli beef was tender, but a bit salty for me. The orange chicken was a bit sweet to my taste. The broccoli and chicken got better as they cooled. The chow mein got worse. The Kung Pao chicken had a nice heat, but again, tasted sort of unusual. Not bad, just unexpected. They're okay, but I'd rather go to a local joint.

I sat at the drive-thru for a whole 3 minutes before anyone acknowledged me on the intercom. I was starting to second guess if they were even open. Then I placed my order at 10:15 AM. I literally sat at the window for my food for 21 minutes! No one was in line in front of me, it was just me. The cashier never bothered to update me on how long it would take. Most fast food places would tell you to pull into a parking space because it would be a while. It's too bad because I really liked the food.

⭐ 1/5 – Extremely Disappointed with Service

As a passionate foodie who has spent the past decade reviewing everything from high-end restaurants to fast food chains, I was excited to try the new Panda Express on Dixie Hwy. Unfortunately, my experience was beyond disappointing.

I waited in the drive-thru line for over 30 minutes without moving an inch. Trapped behind a stalled order and with no escape route, I eventually went inside to speak to a manager, hoping for some clarity or at least empathy. Instead, I was met with an eye-roll and the dismissive response, “We have people on the drive-thru.”

What frustrated me most wasn’t just the wait—it was the complete lack of accountability and customer service. There was no effort to help, no apology, and certainly no urgency to fix the issue. Being stuck in a non-moving drive-thru with no communication or exit plan is unacceptable for any restaurant, especially one newly opened and trying to establish its reputation.

I really wanted to give this location a fair shot, but with service like this, it’s hard to recommend. Hopefully they learn and improve, but I won’t be rushing back...

A complete waste of time and money I absolutely do not recommend this place. I just left, extremely disappointed. I placed my order through Postmates at 7:05 p.m., and by 7:30 it was marked as "ready." I left to pick it up, but when I got there, the screen showed that my order was still in progress. I waited patiently, but after 20 minutes they just removed my order from the screen. I asked the Hispanic man at the counter (who was very rude and bitter) what was going on, and he just said, “It’s in progress,” without offering any explanation. During that time, I saw over 15 people pick up their orders, while mine was still nowhere to be found. Long story short, I lost my $55 because of their incompetence and lack of professionalism. If you don’t want a bad experience, do NOT order takeout from this place. Go in and order in person, because online orders are treated terribly and they only make them whenever they...
