My boyfriend and I went to McDonald’s around 1am and its less than 5 minutes from our house so we go here often. I ordered a cheeseburger with only ketchup and onion and a fry and a vanilla milkshake. They always forget the onions on the burger and this time they did again. I asked if they could put onions on the burger and they took it back. The one I got in return had everything on it and was missing the top bun. We had already pulled out of the line so we drove back around and told them what happened. When we got to the window we were met by a man with curly brown hair that I was assuming was the manager. He proceeds to say this burger is cold and ours are made fresh and then asks for the receipt. He then says that he just made that burger so what happened to it because he was the one making the burgers. And we told him that we gave it back to get onions on it and got that one in return. He goes and gets the man at the second window and yells at him in front of us about the burger and then points at us and asks if he recognized us and he says yes. As he was trying to insinuate that we went all the way to another McDonald’s and then came to this one to get a different cheeseburger? Like what would be the point of that over a 2 dollar cheeseburger? He leaves and we get the correct burger and it was so sloppily made. I just don’t understand why we were treated so poorly and disrespected because I wanted onions on my cheeseburger and asked them to correct it. If this man is the manager and making the food, which he is making incorrectly, he needs to be fired and find a different job where he doesn’t hate his miserable life and take it out on customers. Absolutely ridiculous as I have worked in the food industry for years and have never experienced a manager being so foul over a 2 dollar cheeseburger. The fries were also cold and I didn’t even say anything about that because I just...
Read moreWalked in the place smelled of sewage really strong. It lingered by the front counter which I stood at for just over 15 minutes, I was acknowledged once, as an employee did say someone will be right with you at 11:06. I entered at 11am. My wife and I decided to leave at 11:17am after no one even made eye contact with us or anyone else that came in after us. There were zero orders up and I saw one car in the drive-thru as my wife mentioned maybe we could get waited on that way. I just chose to go somewhere else, if that's how they care about customers, I would say they care about the product they put out. I understand it's McDonalds but McDonalds is now $25 - $30 for two people to have a good meal, no less than $20. It's not about the money, it's about the attitude and the hospitality of the staff and having a sanitary establishment. I usually do not complain or write negative reviews because I understand bad days happen and everyone wants to say somethings when things are not good. So I try to compliment if anything. This exact store 3 years ago took forevvvver to get service also and the employee said to me " you can go down the road , there is another McDonalds down that way" after waiting over ten minutes and then being told that I must put my order in on the kiosk and after doing so I had not got our food or it hadn't even been started to be made a long time afterwards. I was heated and left that day but did not complain. I had ate here twice since and it was average. I do not recommend and this McDonalds creates a bad image for the ones who do great and have basic...
Read moreMickey D's, America's not so guilty pleasure. Look, we've all at some point ate it and also probably some far worse places, too. It's the embodiment of "extra medium". It is what it is, and the constant war cry of how evil they are and how unhealthy their food is isn't doing a thing. No, McDonald's is permanently ingrained in the American cultural landscape. And, come on, you'd be lying to yourself if at least once in your life the ultra sugary, sodium filled fried gut-busters haven't hit the spot for you. For some folks it's the shakes they can't live without. Others, it's the fries that seemingly cannot be reproduced by anyone on the planet and yet are consistently the exact same at every location across the country. I even know someone who swears that McDonald's has the best Coke because it's formulated for them and their fountains only. Everyone has that one thing be it coffee, breakfast treats, or even the fish sandwich that gives them an occasional pleasure they can't resist. How many times have you heard "I don't eat McDonald's....but their __ is really good. I get that sometimes" from even the healthiest, active, calorie counting people in life that you know? Like picking your nose, we all at some point have to do it despite how disgusting and gross it is, we do it but just don't want to talk about it with anyone. Or maybe having to use a public bathroom. Nobody really wants to, you never wake up planning to do it, but sometimes you just kinda have to bear up get it over with. I
It is what it is, and for me it's those damn...
