McDonald's — Restaurant in Louisville

The food here was good. However, the service leaves something to be desired. The woman at the register seemed as if she was just recently placed on that duty. Myself and two other customers watched her walk around for about two or three minutes before beginning to take our orders. The woman in charge (not sure if she was the manager) seemed to be extremely frustrated from the lack of motivation from some of the other crew. She was getting especially frustrated from the woman on the register and with the line of customers growing it only seemed to increase. The woman in charge was shouting out commands as well as asking questions in a very loud tone. She also was more or less telling the crew what her position for the day was going to be, "back drive". The woman that they had preparing the breakfast on the line was real efficient. The drive through was hit or miss at times, but all in all descent. The whole crew in general seemed to be a little dramatic at times. I have this distinct feeling that they had just switched shifts, this might be the reason for the initial confusion. Just before I left there was a squared away woman that came in looking neat with a pleasant attitude showing respect to customers. I'm confident that this was the manager due to her appearance and demeanor as well the blue button up manager shirt and name tag. Perhaps the day will go smoother now that she is on duty. I had trouble getting the review to pop up on the day that it happened. Which i regret. The person who regularly works that drive through was not there. The girl sounded young and had a lot of attitude. The menu board wasn't working. And she kept on trying to argue with me that that's how it works. Super strange it was completely blank and white and she wanted my order. And I told her I was just waiting on the menu to pop back up. Then I said oh I get it it must be broken. And she argued with me and a smarter like way that it's not broken that that's how it is. It went back and forth for a second. Because I was trying to explain to her that it really was broken that was completely white. There is one ladyl that works the second window.. just as sweet as she can be. She always tries to make you feel good. Put on average. The food is less than mediocre. The bread isn't always fresh. The cheese is very rarely melted. Which is kind of strange. Usually it's good if I stick with a fish sandwich. I do feel that management can give them a little bit more staff. Give her or take a few people the staff is always been nice. This McDonald's is close to my work so in the past 35 yrs I have eaten here on a regular basis. On April 25, 2019, I purchased a quarter pound deluxe meal. Got back to work and bit into a uncooked burger. Drove back over to McDonald's and was inform that is the way quarter pounders are cooked. I told him I have order quarter pounders from their McDonald's and never had one uncooked. I was informed that I must request how I want it cooked on a quarter pounder. My reply, since when do you have to request how you want your burgers cooked at a fast food restaurant. The lady proceeded to argue with me, wish I would have gotten her name. So as she was ringing my return meal and putting in another one, she again stated how you want it cooked. I stated done. She said if she didn't put the words "well done" on the order it would come out looking like the last one. She was not very friendly to be working the front line.
