I didn't get my entire order it was 11:00 so I called back immediately so I can get it brought back to me mind you I had paid extra for it and it is essential to enjoy the rest of the meal that I had bought! Apparently they don't answer the phones after 11:00 in hopes to if they don't answer the phone apparently they don't get more orders so they don't have to worry about leaving past 12:00 what did Papa John's black when it wasn't even a franchise yet it was just three stores in Louisville and never had such horrible service in my life finally I got a manager on the phone whose job was to nickel and dimed me into believing that a piece of paper written somewhere in his office was going to make my day special someday down the road when I only order pizza every 3 months or so cuz I simply can't afford it to order it all the time and apparently 45 minutes was just too close to cut off time to make them give me the rest of the food that I ordered and paid for and paid for the delivery charge and everything else that comes with getting service like that when you don't have any way to get it yourself! So he puts me on hold and has me on hold for almost 45 minutes until the store was officially closed now and then hung up the phone I never ever had such poor service in my life back in the day when we were building this franchise into the empire it is now we would have never ever gotten out of that bar closet with a pizza oven serving our customers the way I was treated that night you have no concern whatsoever that this is one treat I get once every 3 months nor do they care it's what time they get off work and get home and that's all that matters to them even though it was written as plain as day on my order what I wanted and it is not my fault that a young adult can't take the time out to read and do his job correctly the first time so he doesn't have to repeat to make the customer happy which I did that religiously when I work for them back in the 80s sothat's why Papa John's is as big as it is just back then we did care about our customers and I don't know what to say about the door now but I will never order Papa John's again!! What really hurts is the manager treating me like a fool and had me sit on hold for 45 minutes knowing that he wasn't going to do anything for me that he was going to simply hang up once midnight hit 0 and it makes me sad to think that somebody would treat someone so horribly just to say I couldn't do anything for cuz we were closed! Read moreI order from here like 4 times a month. Once a week. I've tried every big chain, affordable pizza place and i always come back to Papa Johns. The one on Bardstown Rd near Hurstbourne is better than most of their stores when it comes to service but the food is amazing no matter which one you order from. I really love their options and the fact that they always have a lot of special deals to choose from online. It's super easy to place an online, in store or over the phone order which isn't really the case for every pizza place anymore. The only thing i don't love is the new reward points system. Before i could get a free pizza in about half the time i do now with about half the money spent. Now i have to spend 75 dollars no matter how many orders i make before i get a rewards pizza and that seems really excessive since the majority of people aren't ordering from one pizza place that often. It also makes it harder for you to stay loyal because of the rewards program because it does take so much longer for those of us who use coupons or buy specials more often than not despite ordering pretty often. It just feels like it was a way to take away that customer appreciated feeling that was one of the reasons i stayed loyal in the first place. Now it doesn't seem as important and i wouldn't be worried if i had to order elsewhere. But the food is better so if i have a choice I'm picking papa johns. Read moreWhen I ordered the pizza it said it would take 38-48 minutes for delivery. After almost an hour and a half I called the store because we still hadn't received our pizzas. I had to call 10 times before anyone even answered the phone. She said they only had 3 drivers, they were running behind and we should get our pizzas soon. After about another 15 minutes we called back to cancel our order. The guy that answered didn't seemed surprised that we wanted to cancel our order. I told him my name and address and then he said that the pizza was already on the way and that I should just wait for it. I told him that after waiting over an hour more than the times I just wanted a refund. He said that he had no way to get ahold of the driver, that I wouldn't be able to get my refund for 3-5 business days, that they only had 2 drivers(the first woman i talked to said 3) and that's why it was taking so long and he had a bad attitude. I told him that it was ridiculous I had to wait so long and just needed my refund. He eventually agreed but said the driver would probably show up in a minute anyway since he should've been almost here and he couldn't get ahold of him(the driver never showed up). Almost every time we've ordered from this Papa Johns we've had problems. We usually don't even complain about it but the few times we have they never even gave us so much as an apology.
