I don't frequent craft stores very often since I discovered online shopping. When I do go to an actual store, it's usually Michael's but my sister favors Hobby Lobby so I went there with her. The store was clean and well organized. It's much easier to find something here than at Michael's, which always seems so crowded. Michaels definitely carries more products than Hobby Lobby though, so that's probably why. The store had a smaller bead section, but the quality of these beads are almost all top-grade. Especially (most) of the semiprecious gem beads. I didn't even plan to get beads but I got a small string of pearls for a very good price. They carry rub-on transfers which I've never been able to find inside other craft stores. Also the storage and organization section I know I'll be going back to. I didn't have the trunk space for everything I wanted from right there. I feel like there could have been more variety. A couple crafts that I love were missing from the store. I know they carry the supplies because I've seen it online. The store is very clean and set up well. The shelves were stocked well and things were where they're supposed to be. I was quite impressed with Hobby Lobby and I will be...
Read moreI friggin love this place, even though I know that doesn't sound at all professional I am a professional artist as well as a hobbyist so this store is like my office supply store lol. They literally have anything I could need to at least get started in most hobbies I could think of. The prices are usually pretty affordable although they do offer a varied price and quality range in most products. Especially their paint section. They always have 40 percent off coupon that you can use on your most expensive off sale item instead of your cheapest along with constant sales on varied hobby supplies. Overall I wouldn't go to any other brick and mortar store for my craft supplies and I need a brick and mortar store to be able to run out and pick up something quick when I need it or get the urge to be crafty or try something new or run out of something in the middle of a project. They are also in every part of town, at least in Louisville, so theres always one near me wherever I am. 100 percent recommend! If you're interested in seeing everything I made with most of my supplies coming from hobby lobby or having a one on one class check me out on insta gram at...

I AKSED THE EMPLOYEE WORKING IN THAT AREA ABOUT A KID SIZE PLAIN WHITE TSHIRT AND WAS TOLD THEY DON'T HAVE ANY. I GOT A COUPLE ROWS DOWN AND FOUND AN ENTIRE ISLE OF THEM BUT SHE WAS "SURE" THEY WERE OUT AND I SHOULD WAIT FOR THE NEXT TRUCK. GOT INTO THE ONE AND ONLY OPEN SLOW MOVING LINE AND THERE WERE 4 EMPLOYEEES AT A CLOSED REGISTER JUST CHATTING, I ASKED IF THEY COULD OPEN ANOTHER LINE AND WAS TOLD "SHE HAS THE ONLY OPEN REGISTER" POINTING TO THE LINE I WAS ALREADY IN. AFTER ANOTHER 7 MINUTES WAITING A NEW LINE OPENED AND I WAS OVER CHARGED ON TWO ITEM WHAT WERE SUPPOSED TO BE 50% OFF. I SAW WHAT RANG UP $9.99 EACH AND SHE ASSURED ME THAT I WAS ONLY CHARGED 1/2 THAT, SHOWING OBVIOUS FRUSTRATION WITH MY QUESTION. GOT HOME AND ADDED UP MY RECEIPT AND I WAS NOT GIVEN THE DISCOUNT, SO BACK TO THE STORE I WILL HAVE TO GOT TOMORROW. NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE! THEY DON'T SEEM TO...
