My fiancé goes to chik-fil-a a couple times a week. That’s not exaggeration. Prior to the incident I’m reviewing now, his las visit he had ordered his usual and he always orders a cheese cup. This time they had forgotten his sauce that he paid for and he didn’t realize until he had made it home already. No biggie, he called and let them know he and like I said before, he goes to this specific location on a regular basis, employees know exactly who he is. He is one of the nicest human beings you’d ever come across and he is a talker, I don’t think anybody has ever disliked him when they first meet him. With all that being said, the other day he went to grab late dinner since he is self employed and he mentioned that the other day he was missing his sauce and it would be provided to him the next time he comes back. Well.. that didn’t necessarily happen. When he pulled up to the window (he had already just spent $40-$50 on this order alone) he mentioned the forgotten sauce from a couple days ago and they demanded to see his receipt, Conner, demanded to see his receipt and was the rudest person ever working at a chik-fail-a I’ve seen this far. I’ve never met a rude employee at this company. My fiancé had proof of his order with the missing sauce but it was on his other phone that he left at home. He would’ve had to call his brother to bring his phone to him which would’ve been pointless because by then the food is going to be cold. Instead of giving him a simple cup of cheese (it sounds so ridiculous) my fiancé felt extremely disrespected and told them to cancel the order all together. He is not a confrontational man, he can be if it’s something serious. But over a cheese cup? Conner, we’ve heard many stories about you and how rude you can be to others. I really believe this location needs to take a good look at who is working there dealing with the public because it only gets worse than what I stated above. By now the restaurant is closed and my fiancé had pulled out of the drive thru and parked because he wanted to post a review about this whole situation as it just happened. He recorded everything btw. As he is parked writing a review he gets a knock on his window and he looks up… it’s the police. They called the police on him claiming that he was being loud, yelling, etc. smh my fiancé told the officer that is not at all how this went down and showed the video of what happened and the police agreed and that it was ridiculous for them to waste their time OVER A FREAKIN CHEESE CUP. Conner, if you can’t work with the public and be nice then find somewhere...
Read moreMy son’s father owns a successful locksmith business and is known for being incredibly kind to everyone. He frequents this Chick-fil-A location about three times a week. A few days ago, they forgot one of his cheese sauces. The same employee took his order both times and even recognized him. He told her it was no big deal and that he’d just mention it at the window.
When he got to the window with two meals totaling around $50, an employee named Connor refused to give him the missing sauce because he didn’t have the receipt. He even offered to have his brother send a photo of the receipt, but Connor insisted he park and come inside — even though it was just minutes before closing.
In the end, he had to request a refund, and the staff ended up throwing away $50 worth of food — all over a single cheese sauce. He was so upset that he said he’d never return, which devastated our son, since this was their favorite spot.
To make matters worse, while he was parked near the tire shop writing a Google review, the police showed up. Someone from the store — presumably Connor — had reported him as threatening. But he had parked in a way that made it impossible for anyone in the store to see him, let alone feel endangered. Fortunately, he had recorded the entire interaction, which clearly showed he was calm and respectful. The police had been told he yelled and threatened the employee, which was completely false.
He spends about $200–$300 a month at this location — something we confirmed through Rocket Money, and he even mentioned this in his review. Now I’m in a difficult position because this was the place he and our son Michael always went...
Read moreI use Rocket Money to track my spending, and I realized I go to this Chick-fil-A at least three times a week. The other day, they forgot a cheese sauce with my order. I didn’t make a big deal out of it—I just threw the rest of the food away and figured next time they’d make it right.
So next time I ordered around $40 worth of food and mentioned the missing cheese sauce. I even offered to pull the old receipt from the trash, but I would’ve had to call my brother to send it over, which would’ve taken time and made my food cold. Since they wouldn’t just give me the sauce, I ended up canceling the whole order. This had only happened once in five years, and they gave me the cheese sauce that time. But this time, they demanded a receipt I didn’t have, even though I paid with my debit card—so they probably could’ve looked it up.
Long story short, $40 worth of food went to waste over one cheese cup. And now I feel like I can’t go back to Chick-fil-A, which sucks because I used to take my kid there a few times a week.
To top it off, as I was typing out this review in my car, the cops showed up—apparently someone said there was yelling, even though the place was already closed. The crazy part? I got video of the whole thing: them refusing the cheese sauce, and the cops showing up for no real reason.
All that over one cheese cup. And the guy’s name was Conner—seemed more willing to let food go to waste than hand over a...
