This is my favorite Mexican food in louisville. I have been to most. We always shop first.they really have the best store here.wonderful meat market. The we go to the restaurant. Very good caldo de res. Chicken quesadilla is one of the best. Very simple and quick. Steak burrito is plentiful. Beans and rice,good. Then to the bakery. Very good,fresh breads,cookies and cakes. Lastly, dessert. Nice fruit and ice cream. My wife always gets flan for take home. The main ingredient? Customer service is the best here. We have been going here for years and not once had a rude person wait on us!! Seriously, everyone has been kind and helpful at this establishment. That,more than anything keeps...

Stop here, anon. This is the place. It's a little heavy on the protein and light on the other stuff. E.g. the steak tacos are lots of steak... the chicken quesadilla is chicken and cheese and a pinch of lettuce on the side. The chicken torta (milanese) is a beautiful thin breaded chicken breast sandwich with just some lettuce and pickled jalapenos. So it's great, but it's not great. Great little Mexican food restaurant inside of a Mercado. Needed a food fill up on our way to Nashville and was skeptical about this concept but oh my god the burritos were huge. All 4 of us ordered them and only consumed half and save the rest for an after bourbon tasting. Definitely eat here if...
