Updated review to one star. I do not agree with this business's practices or views. They have also had way too limited selection and high prices during subsequent visits.
To be completely fair, it was New Year's Day, and they were very busy. We had to share a table with a stranger in order to be seated, which was OK, but not ideal. I also get being "in the weeds." What was a little frustrating was that the friend I came with was given the wrong beverage the first time and had to have his tea remade, and after waiting an eternity for my oat milk cappuccino, they realised they had forgotten to make it entirely. I had to wait even longer to get it remade, and unlike my friend, I was not offered the little token for a discount of a future drink for the trouble.
They just didn't come close to meeting expectations on this particular visit. Especially not when their prices are as high as they are! I will not try this...
Read moreThe staff were exceptionally friendly, but I was disappointed in the food selection and the quality of the drinks. I ordered an iced chai latte, and it clearly wasn't mixed properly. The chai was in clumps for some reason, which confused me because chai doesn't usually have a sauce consistency. I got an iced caramel latte, and the mixing was better, so I think the espresso melted down the sauce, and that made it mix better with the milk. They also didn't have many options for food pairing to begin with, and most of their options were already sold out. I'm aware a coffee shop isn't the place to go for a whole meal, but they usually at least have snacks and pastries to choose from.
I don't think the staff is at fault. They may not have been given proper materials and training. As I said, they were exceptionally polite and professional. I just wouldn't recommend this place as the best...
Read moreI recently visited Sunergos where I ordered a cappuccino and a macchiato. While the presentation was okay, my coffee set arrived lukewarm, and I asked the staff if they could warm it up for me. Unfortunately, they informed me that they didn't have a microwave and did not offer any alternative solutions to address my request.
This lack of accommodation was disappointing. A simple solution or gesture, such as brewing a fresh cup or offering a different, hotter beverage, would have greatly improved my experience. Customer service is key, and failing to meet such a basic request left me feeling undervalued as a customer.
Overall, despite the café's pleasant ambiance and quality offerings, the service left much to be desire. I hope they consider improving their customer services...
