What a gem on The Avenue! I've lived in Crescent Hill and surrounding area most of my life and I love the village-like feel. The Wine Rack adds such value and charm to this Avenue and the well thought out selection serves the community perfectly. I can essentially do a one-stop shop for wine, apps, dinner, bread, dessert, and a little something to sip après dinner! The wine, bourbon, and beer collection in particular are wonderful and John makes it a point to strive for a small footprint when selecting his inventory, when possible. There are multiple very boutique brands made within miles of his shop he offers in his store. This is why I shop at the Wine Rack! Frankfort ave is a great spot for local owned "mom and pop" enterprises of which The Wine Rack is certainly one.
