White Castle — Restaurant in Louisville

My husband & I love WC's sliders! And you can't beat the prices! They"re cooked fast, not much wait time. I do miss the BBQ pork sliders from the Lenten season several years back. They were so delicious!!

A couple negatives for the Hikes Point WC. 1) The fries were a bit overdone. They were were still very tasty & enjoyable. Just a tad too many overly brown fries, which is NOT typical for any WC I've been to previously, including this location. I chalk it up to a bad fry night. 2) The employee I asked for the restroom code came across "to me: as I was a bother with my question. I let his attitude slide but feel it should be mentioned here as I'm sure other customers will need the use of the restroom & he could provide the code in a bit happier tone. I don't know he could have been tired, ready to get, off, not feeling good, etc. But he still could have provided the code just a little friendlier. Just my opinion! 3) The ladies restroom was in need of MILD attention. There was water on the floor around the toilet, as if a toddler had played in the toilet & splashed water out on the floor. I use a cane & the water made for a slippery, dangerous condition for me & any other lady using a cane or crutches. When I mentioned this to the cashier, she was most appreciative of the information & said she'd get it taken care of immediately. She DID! Before I sat down at a booth, the man mentioned in Item #2 went in the restroom & mopped up the excess water. Even with his unhappy attitude towards me prior, I was still pleased to see him getting the water mopped up and the restroom...

White Castle is hands-down one of my favorite places to grab a quick and satisfying meal! While their sliders are iconic, what truly keeps me coming back are their onion rings and chicken rings—absolute perfection every single time.

The onion rings are some of the best I’ve ever had. They’re crispy, golden, and full of flavor, with just the right amount of seasoning. Each bite is crunchy and satisfying, never greasy. The chicken rings are equally amazing—juicy, tender, and perfectly seasoned. They have a unique shape and flavor that set them apart from anything else out there. Pairing these two with one of their combos is an unbeatable experience.

Speaking of combos, White Castle truly knows how to put together a great meal deal. The variety they offer is impressive, and it’s always more than enough to hit the spot. I love that I can mix and match sliders, onion rings, and chicken rings to create my ideal meal. The portions are generous, and everything is served hot and fresh.

Whether it’s a late-night craving or a quick bite during the day, White Castle never disappoints. If you haven’t tried their onion rings or chicken rings yet, you’re missing out on something...

I haven't had a White Castle burger in years. It did not disappoint. I used the drive-thru while visiting Louisville Kentucky. My order was taken immediately, I just wanted one burger as we were going out to dinner later that evening. The gentleman who took my order of course offered fries or a beverage, which I declined. He cheerfully told me my total and told me to pull around. I was handed a bag with my culinary delight. It had been so long since I had a White Castle burger. The smell of the grilled onions rose from the bag as I opened the top, I removed the small tasty delight from is small white container, the bun was so soft and you could feel the freshness of it all. The first bite was heaven. It was perfect, the meat, the cheese, the onion all hot and ready to be consumed. I was over joyed after all these years, it was like yesterday, and I enjoyed every little bite. Oh, White Castle, I have so missed you. Can't say what the inside was like, but the drive thru was quick and efficient, friendly staff...
