We were first time visitors while passing through the area. Our waitress Nicole was wonderful! She was attentive and kind. Our food: The bacon wrapped dates were my favorite part of the meal. They were SO delicious! I ordered the hot honey bourbon sliders. I did not read the deacription very well and did not notice they were chicken thighs (darker meat). Im not a fan of chicken thighs. It was tasty with all the items on it though. I ate one at dinner and tried to save one for later but it was complete mush, so ended up tossing it. Fries were just ok in my opinion. My boyfriend said his steak was well prepared. The frites were unique and flavorful although slightly undercooked. He said his crystal negroni was a very interesting take on the classic negroni. He enjoyed the originality but said he would not order another one.

First time visiting the Wild Swann. Nice and clean atmosphere, pleasant staff, food, and drinks are slightly overpriced for what you're getting. While this restaurant is adorable, the food and drinks could use a little love and attention. The hot honey chicken sliders were pretty good, and sidewinder fries were served cold and appeared seasoned but had little flavor. The mushroom ragu rigatoni was bland, pasta overcooked and unappealing to the eye. The new sparrow cocktail was tasty, but FULL of ice. So much ice, that it was climbing out of the glass and difficult to maneuver around. Also, watered down the cocktail very quickly. I'm a bit disappointed, and I had high hopes. The bruleed cheesecake was delicious. See pics.

Drinks were delicious. Service was quick and the food was okay. My cauliflower curry was unfortunately runny and watery with no flavor of cauliflower. I could taste the curry spices but nothing special. My partner got the mahi mahi and that was good. I agree after trying it myself. The bread pudding was good but again nothing special or would order again. In addition, it was hard to figure out where the restaurant entrance was and finding parking was difficult. Overall, come for the drinks and atmosphere. For how expensive everything was though, I would be choosy what food you order.

My daughter chose Wild Swann as the culmination of a five-day jaunt to tour bourbon country in celebration of her birthday, her graduation, and her immense badassery (It's a long story).

Holy moly. This place could not have been better. First, we were greeted with such warmth as we entered. Our host took us to about the coolest table I've ever seen...a private booth in what felt like its own gallery.

The Old Fashioneds were perfect, and then came the meal.

I read a bunch of older reviews. Clearly, Wild Swann has taken them to heart. At least for us, our dinners were remarkable.

My daughter got the mushroom bolonese rigatoni. It was so rich and so delicious. I got the mahi, which was insane in a very good way.

We wrapped it up with espresso martinis (Tje Black Swann), which hit the spot. OH! Almost forgot...they brought her a surprise dessert -- the bread pudding -- as a happy birthday wish.

All in all, Wild Swann was the perfect experience for us. So so good. Thank you to the restaurant and our amazing server, whose name I wish I had caught. 😊

Five stars are easy for us. I'd give six if I could....

We were spending the night in Louisville while traveling and chose this place to have supper. I called for a reservation and was told by Lance who was very nice that there was nothing available until 8:00. We decided to just walk over and sat at bar to have a drink and order some takeout. Melanie, the bartender was great! She knows bourbon and educated us on what she recommended. She made it so fun and quite interesting. Two things that were questionable: we were sitting at the bar for awhile and there were maybe one or two tables with customers. The place was empty pretty much until we left which was around 7:45. I couldn’t help but wonder why we were told we could not get a table until 8:00. The other thing I will point out is that the portions were tiny. We were surprised when we got back to our hotel and opened the containers. We wondered if they had perhaps made a mistake. I realize that food doesn’t stay hot typically when getting takeout but this was all cold. I would definitely go back to sit at the bar for a drink and app but not sure I would order...

This restaurant reminded me of one of those tv shows where a famous chef comes in to try to turn the restaurant around before it closes, but I experienced the restaurant before they called into to show. During our dinner there was a total of 3 other parties. Our caesar salads had old lettuce that was turning brown. The short rib rigatoni ($22) wasn't fresh, it was leftovers microwaved, which they couldn't even get right since the bowl was hot and the food itself was lukewarm. I had to physically bring my dish to the waiter and let her know it was cold since she was preoccupied with socializing with the other staff. The waiter didn't offer anything to try to make it right. I ended up going to another restaurant to eat. There's several restaurants in walking distance that are at the same price point and provide better quality and tastier foods. We're supposed to be a foodie town and this was just an...
