McDonald's — Restaurant in Lovejoy

I went to Mc Donalds on 9-02-18 around 10am. I was in drive thru and I had my 3 children and my husband in the car. We ordered our food and when I drove up to the window she said you ordered 2 double cheese burgers and a med fri. I said no ma'am thats not what I ordered. So she said my order out right and I paid and drove up to pick up my food. They tried to give me the 2 double cheese burgers and the med fri. I said no thats not what I ordered. The girl at the window looked at me like she was lost. Then the manager came to the window and said well have your food ready in a few minutes. Then he came back and said can you pull up to the yellow post and I did. I was sitting there waiting for over 15-20 minutes and my husband got out the car and went to see if the lobby was open which it wasn't. There was a red head guy looking and smiling at us from behind the counter, while we were knocking on the door. Then I proceeded to the drive thru window and I had no choice but to stop the drive thru traffic. When i approached the window the cashier looked at me like she didn't know what she was doing. There were people pulling up beside me with complaints of there order is wrong. I said please wait until i am finished please cause I have 3 crying babys in the car. I asked for the manager and she went and got the manager and he said as if i am in the wrong for coming to the window for my food that I ordered over 15-20 minutes ago. He was like what do you want me to do. I was looking at him like wow you are the one who told me to move up and wait on our food and no one ever came out to give us our food or come out to say anything. I felt so disrespected. He kept saying what do you want me to do? I said you know what just give me my money back please. It took him over 5 minutes just to refund me my money. The employees were laughing like that was funny. I said I promise you I will get the last laugh. I tried calling the location and I couldn't get thru the phone kept hanging up on me as if there playing with the phones. McDonald’s is known for poor customer service but this McDonald’s by far is the worst experience I have ever had. They are either extremely under-staffed or just have lazy employees or both. 9 Times out of 10 the drive through takes 15-30 mins especially at night. Often you sit in the drive through waiting to order and have to say “Hello” several times to get someone’s attention. They get the order wrong so often that you literally have to take each item out to make sure it’s correct and if it’s not, be prepared to have to argue with the staff to get it corrected. The ice-cream, milk-shake or anything frozen machine is ALWAYS “down”. Which is more likely just staff members not wanting to do their jobs. On one occasion I ordered something that was no longer on the menu and the drive through attendant was very impatient and unwilling to answer a simple question and at one point said, “Do you want it or not”. When I pulled up to pay for my order she threatened to “take it outside” as in she wanted to fight me. My children were in the car and she was threatening me and speaking very disrespectful even after requesting to speak to a manager, she was yelling over the manager at me. The manager seemed not too surprised by the attendants behavior and instead of asking the attendant to leave the window, she simply offered to give me a French Fry for free. Which is laughable. It took to long to get food I know what I ordered had to be cooked part of it anyway but it was around 1:30 am with nobody at drive thru and no body at counter inside and it felt like they had time to shoot the cow and start from there and the meat was still blood red in the middle well most of it was made me sick I couldn't eat the rest of my meal and this is not the first time here I haven't been in a while but thought I would try again it doesn't matter if you talk to management there or call the 800 # I didn't even get a call back I will never try this place again I will drive to Fayetteville or Griffin before going back to that place ever again this must be the dumping ground for employees that don't follow training or something eat at your own risk which is very risky at this particular McDonald's can't remember any good to better visit at this.location and I live 2 miles away since it was a pasture was at that location so have given it the last chance to get a little better and there has been no improvement to date wish I could be nicer but can't I don't even fill these things out and that's how much I want everyone to be aware of the continued same problems with no change in making it better over many years yes years maybe they need to demolish the place and start from scratch somewhere else like burger king had to do across the street but good luck to them and I will continue to keep everyone in my prayers for help 🙏 🙏🙏 🆘 for them and myself not to get food poisoning from raw meat ...
