Hops and Berry Taproom — Restaurant in Loveland

I loved this place from the very beginning! I would like to own 1or 2 someday! It is right up my ally! I live in Milford Ohio and they have everything a person like me wants and needs when I go out and I worked in the bar and restaurant industry for years before becoming a nurse! I ride my my bike 🚴‍♂️, on the Loveland bike trail, for exercise and they are right on the bike trail🚴‍♂️🚴🚴‍♀️👍! They have 60 taps, with beer, wine and mixed drinks, that you pay for by the ounce and that have a description of the beverage, so you can take a taste of something for a small price, to see if you like it before getting a full pour👍🍻👏🍷🤘🍹😀! They also have a variety of mixed drinks made from scratch that you can choose from👍🍹👏🍹😀! If you like sports, like I do, this is the place for you⚽️🏈🏀🏉⚾️🎾👍, this place rivals any sports bar around, with around 15-16 TV’s on all the games happening at the moment! When you think of food, think sports bar type food! They have indoor and outdoor seating and games for the kids! It can be loud at times, but what bar or restaurant isn’t, unless you choose a high priced intimate type place, which I also like on occasion! And it’s hard to please everyone, when it comes to music🤪! They do have a jukebox, if you want to change the music! Food is okay, standard bar fried food. Service is what you would expect from a serve yourself establishment - dirty glasses and plates on empty tables, cups are partially clean with water rings and some residual food particles. Kegs are ran dry and not marked as 86'd nor are they retapped - even if you tell the employees that a particular keg is blown. Singo has been fun in the past with Riley. Haven't been recently to know if he's still hosting. Trivia sucks. Like really bad - don't come for trivia. We made that mistake and they use some app that gives you 4 seconds and your "answer" is a choosing a letter to represent the first letter of the first word of the answer. So answer "P" for Pinocchio, or Pocahontas, or Pringles or any other P word... Not very 'trivia'-esque if you have a 1 in 24 (some letters are combined as one guess) chance of guessing the right answer, but maybe I'm the only one who thinks that. Family friendly so that's a plus. One of the few 'bars' in the area with a semi decent selection of drinks (when actually tapped) so I'm sure that's what keeps them busy. My wife and I have a babysitter every Thursday and our favorite thing to do is to come to Hops and Berry with our friends. There are many selections of beverages that with the help of their technology there is no waiting to get a drink. The flatbreads are our favorite item on the menu with the Chicken Bacon Ranch being the best. Trivia on Thursday nights is fun with usually over 15 teams playing for first place. Most Thursdays I am able to call ahead and we can get a table reserved so we for sure have a spot when we get there. The staff is also super helpful and friendly.
