I wonder if this place is purposely trying to earn a visit from Gordon Ramsey and thus the reason why the food is the way it is. The food is out of this world! It should be illegal to serve such items.
Let's start with the appetizer. The spring rolls are not your normal spring rolls. They look like a deconstructed something. The lettuce and cilantro inside are rotten. The chef did not care to wash and throw away the rotten veggie parts. The meat.... I was expecting pork, as in normal spring rolls pork like in any other restaurants... instead you get a few pieces of ham sliced up and thrown in the mess. The vermicelli noodles are tough to chew on. Whoever came up with the recipe should really change the name to "Deconstructed spring rolls look-alike with ham and rotten veggies". We know this did not make it past the box it came in. This box and spring roll became best friend with the trashbin. $3 for ONE spring roll down the drain.
Now onto the pho.
Noodle: You cannot claim this is a pho dish when this is not rice noodle. The noodle is the same as the ones in the "spring rolls"... vermicelli. This is false advertisement! You should be ashamed for even claiming the name "pho".
Broth: As others have mentioned, the broth is a very watered down flavorless broth. This flavor cannot even compare to the 33 cents MaMa pho noodle packages that you throw in the microwave for 2 minutes. I don't think even Pho Lan in Loveland or Pho Duy in Greeley can fix this broth even if we brought it to their kitchens of authentic Vietnamese pho. I debated if this was even good enough to sit in my trashbin or if I should bring it back to the restaurant for them to put in their trashbin.... but because of the snow, it became best friends with the spring rolls, now out in the dumpster.
Overall, thoroughly disappointed for the taste, presentation, cleanliness, and attention to details. If I can give you a 0 star out of 5... you would probably get negative something way down the spectrum......
Read moreHm where to begin... My family loves LOVES pho, we decided to branch out and try this place. We got the meatball and rare beef pho, frankly they broth tasted like excess juice from wet dog/cat food. The smell was unappealing and the meat was bland. Imagine having a cold and eating spam straight out of the can. Isn’t it funny how food that takes like dog breath can ruin your night? The price for the portions we received were ridiculous. Maybe if the food was good the price would be worth while. If you want good and I mean GOOD pho, I recommend Asian Cafe and Grill, the portions are about double MoPho’s small size and about $1/2 less. I guess you have to try bad places to find the good places... Oh and they forgot one of our pho, if we had known it was that bad we wouldn’t have bothered having them deliver the rest. Ps my dogs really liked their...
Read moreThe other 1 star reviews have appropriately rated the broths, spring “rolls” that are more of someone throwing stuff in some rice paper and then carelessly folding it. Broth was incredibly bland. The chef claims to follow “French” techniques, which makes little sense as it’s Vietnamese recipe (and I am A retired Chef) also claims to refuse to use MSG, and GMO bones, as well as maintain low sodium.
Salt is the second ingredient in Pho broth, why on earth would you go with low sodium. If you’re claiming for health of the masses then choose a product that isn’t heavily salt based. It’s a real bummer they cannot seem to listen to reviews and put some effort into making improvements.
Lastly their meatballs are more or less Italian sausage which is the...
