THEY DO NOT WEAR MASKS PROPERLY NOR DO THEY SOCIAL DISTANCE! As we were sitting down to eat the first thing I noticed was the tables were extremely close. As we waited for our food to come out more people sat down and absolutely no one was social distanced. Once the food was served I was looking around at the waitresses and the 2 ladies behind the bar were only wearing a mask under their chins. Once they all noticed me and my family staring at them they immediately put them up, but as soon as they thought I looked away they took them back off all while filling peoples drinks up. My mother noticed that there were more people in the back who didn't have one on at all, when we asked about that our waitress said they were cooks and are not required to wear a mask(we brushed it off) but then the people my mom pointed out intentionally came out made a loop around the bar with a mask on and then went to the back again. As we waited for my nephew to finish eating, the manager( I guess considering how rude she was, I wouldn't peg her for a manager) reluctantly came over and asked how our visit was. Once we expressed our grievances with the place, she was rude and said the employees are agrivated with the mask so of course they will take them off, and that if we have such a problem with the place that we can look up the CDC guidelines. I work 10 to 12 hours a day with a mask on and yes I get agitated especially cause I have asthma, but I don't take my mask off because of it, if I need a break I go out back where absolutely no one is and take it off for a minute, not IN my place of business in front of customers handling their orders. I will never eat here again, will never advice anyone to eat here, and if anyone asks me about a place to eat on the bike trail I will make sure to tell them to never eat there pick literally anywhere else. If your place of business can't follow the rules as simple as wearing a mask during a pandemic, you shouldn't be open at all, you just show that you don't care about your customers well being nor about your employees if you aren't enforcing the mask rule or...

We visited here while on a weekend getaway to the Great Wolf Lodge and Newport Aquarium. Our Air Bnb host had it on a recommended list in their home. Our first waitress was great. We had an unexpected change mid meal which was fine. My sister ordered a medium burger. Where we come from, that means tinged with pink. Her burger was pretty rare, but she tried it anyway. It had a burnt rubber taste to it. We brought the issue to the waitress and told her first that the rareness was not what she ordered. She insisted that we were wrong and medium “had blood running through it.” We tried to explain that medium may mean different here, but back home it was barely pink. She insisted that “it doesn’t matter where you’re from.” She continued to not listen and tell us how we were wrong, instead of listening to the actual problem, the fact that your grill needs cleaned and it tasted off. She just kept telling my sister to replace it with something else instead of listening to the fact that she lost her appetite from the horrible taste. Her attitude was horrendous. We will never return on our visits here. My grandfather owns two food establishments, and THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT. You are there to serve them best you can to their needs, not belittle them and tell them they’re wrong. It was horrible customer service. That was quite...

EDIT: I came back a second time to make sure it wasn’t a fluke. It was not a fluke. Enjoy the rest of the review. || WOW. What a great experience. They are super busy today but I was able to take a spot at the bar. My appetizer came out just as I was getting ready to order my entree - perfect timing. Chips and queso for the app was quite flavorful as far as chips and queso are concerned. The entree was a burger, medium rare with jalapeños and pickles. I don’t say this lightly - this burger was PERFECT. I’m highly disappointed in myself that I didn’t have room to finish it. The burger was a perfect medium rare, juicy, cheese perfectly melted in, and my teeth cut through like butter. The jalapeños were fresh, not pickled, and were incredibly smooth. I didn’t know it was possible to enjoy eating as much as I enjoyed eating this burger; if I was given a million chances, I could do no better than they did here today. Thanks to Jenny, the bartender and manager, for being such a professional and for going out of her way to ensure her restaurant could handle the business they were receiving today. Whenever I’m in Loveland, Paxton’s will be my first and only choice. I could go on and on, but I will end with a simple...

Great vibe and decor. They were doing trivia the night we were there so it was extremely loud and crowded. You already are sitting on top of the table next to you so to have customers constantly getting up and squeezing by you to turn in trivia answers was kind of annoying. The food was okay, I think we could cook better food at home. The potato skins tasted like they were frozen with fresh toppings added on, the fries also tasted frozen and had no seasoning, and my hamburger was a little undercooked for medium and the bun was something store bought and not toasted. All the food just seemed uninspired. The service was excellent though, our waitress was busy but was very attentive. Not sure if we'll be back, but if we are, we'll be sitting outside where it's quieter.

We and another couple dined at Paxton Grill in Loveland this past week for the first time. We had the pulled pork sandwich and the fish and chips platter. The pulled pork was very tasty but we had to ask for some barbecue sauce which was served on the side. The fish was real cod and were very generous fillets. For sides we had the sweet potato fries and onion rings. The sweet potato fries were the better with a thicker than normal cut and a great taste. Happy hour ran until 6 pm and we made it just in time to grab a beer. We had an excellent server and the food came out pretty fast. The place is not too big but adequate and they have outside tables if the weather is nice. Overall a very good experience. We will return.

A very nice place to stop if you are in Loveland, Ohio. We stopped for breakfast on a Saturday morning. It was not too crowded and chose our seats. We were immediately greeted, and our drink orders were taken. I ordered the Country Boy while my wife had ala carte eggs and bacon. The Country Boy consists of a biscuit covered with bacon, covered with a sausage patty, covered with a poached egg, and then covered with sausage gravy. It is served with home fries. The food was filling and good. Service was great, and a nice, cozy atmosphere. They also have quite a few beers on tap for lunch and dinner consumption. Nice place, nice food, nice service.
