I went in on 8-03-21 at 2pm and I ordered online like I always do and my son went to get our food he came out and mentioned how he misses the old staff they were always so sweet and friendly and recognized him right away. He said the new people seem to be sketchy and kinda weird unfriendly. I know alit of places lost food staff since covid so I chalked it up to that. Today I was reviewing my credit card statement and it seemed off from the charge from Angelina's online when I placed my order. So I reviewed the receipt in my email and compared it to the one on my statement and the one on the statement was almost 2$ more. It seems very sketchy did they add their own tip I'm not sure but if they did I'm pretty sure that's illegal. Unless the online order price was incorrect but I added the 3 items with tax to be sure. Hopefully I'm wrong but if not I'm nervous I've ordered online many times and not checked to match the online with the credit card statement. I just checked my last 4 orders around once a month between today and March and no issues all the totals matched so I think I have my answer so beware. This place is usually very good i had times where its gross also. It was amazing when it first opened i went there very often the prices were great and the food was awesome. Now the prices are several dollars higher higher im paying 13$ for my steak and cheese when I used to pay 10$ ive paid 15$ at times for the extra cheese. Since it's hit or miss you never know if you will get enough cheese so I always order extra. I love the diced pickles all places should have diced pickles for sandwiches they are perfect for subs. I like the face that you are able to order and modify orders online they usually get it pretty right maybe not enough pickles and mayo when i say Xtra Xtra xtra I mean it lol not a smidgen of each. The workers are always nice there ive never had an issue with anyone who was unfriendly. I also enjoy the outdoor shaded dining with napkin dispensers on all the tables i can be messy when i eat. The pizza and calzones are yummy also. On our last visit my mom got and lowell special? I believe that is the name she didnt enjoy it she said the bacon was not cooked enough. My steak and cheese was good that day but the time before I didnt enjoy it. I like the menu it has a lot of variety and they also have different specials daily and a wensday pasta special which is good. I took away a star cause I paid 18$ for a steak and cheese and all the bread was so old and chewy and garbage and I threw it all out. My ingredients were all wrong and backwards. The girl at the window was friendly but ybut the rest of the workers all stared at us awkwardly while we were picking up the order they were probably hoping we didn't notice the order was hastily thrown together and incorrect such a waste of money the price and the product value are...
Read moreI've ordered food from this place a few times now, and quality ranges from 3/5 to 4.5/5. I'd consider my most recent order a 3/5, and I'm taking a star off for inconsistency, and another for the use of canned mushrooms. Nobody like surprises, and playing Russian Roulette every time I order isn't fun. I don't know if it's going to be one of their good days or bad days. I hate to compare it to a chain, but every time I order from Domino's their pie is the same quality, and they don't used canned mushrooms. Considering people order toppings every day, there's no excuse for a restaurant not to use fresh ingredients. Furthermore, there's no excuse for a pizza restaurant not to use fresh toppings.
With my most recent order, my pie was cooked properly, yet ingredients were so scarce that it almost looked like a cheese pizza on one half of the pizza. And the ingredients they did use, as I just ranted about, included canned mushrooms and pieces of meat that were barely recognizable as either hamburger or sausage.
This place seriously needs to get their act together and put out the same quality food every time. Either that, or stop occupying space. That location can be sold to another merchant, that will hopefully put out a product of...
Read moreWe have been faithful to Angelina’s for 5 years. They are great … until they aren’t!
I ordered a burger with NO ONION due to an allergy. It was on the receipt but my burger came with onions dripping out of it.
When I called the woman said I could pick them off and call her next time for a discount.
I told her I couldn’t do that and I wanted my dinner, as the rest of my family had theirs. She said I could pick it up or pay again since they would get charged a delivery fee… WHAT?
She kept insisting I pick them off and call back for a discount in the future. Seems ridiculous since this isn’t my mistake!
I asked to speak with a manager or owner and got no where. Finally she asked “do you want another burger” and I said “yes, that is all I have been asking you for” and she said fine and hung up.
This is the third time now they’ve gotten an order wrong and every time their response is unhelpful and uncaring.
I will say that over the years their food has been exceptional, it’s a family favorite we are just very disappointed in this customer...
