Regatta Festival Field — Attraction in Lowell

I live by this beautifully maintained field. Actually, there's 2, with a small strip of trees to seperate them so that different events can happen at the same time. The river is across the street and all this, as well as a wonderful walkway on the river, and kayak rental place is right across the street. Coffee is just within walking distance too. Parking for these fields is on the streets! Sports events, craft fairs and, carnivals plus more happen at this field. But when no events happen, people come to picnic, stroll, practice their golf drive and fly kits. Also a great place to practice flying your remote plans and drones Great breezes, not too much shade in field, but across the street on river side are benches, shade Garbage cans on both sides. The field was big, which allowed for plenty of parking without crowding the cars. The fee was $10.00, considering the damage being done to the field that is reasonable. Because of recent rains the entrance turned into a mud bog. Crossovers and SUV's did not have a problem, but passenger cars would. The entrance/ exit is a bit of a bottle neck, and at times this created a backup on the street. The parking lot was directly across from the boathouse and next to a Dunkin's, so this parking...

Nice place to chill when it's clean unfortunately lots of littering and on really hot days you can smell it daily maintenance would be much appreciated and mabey more signs telling people not to let their dogs relieve themselves...
