I had this place on my "try this restaurant sometime" list and while I was in the area today, stopped in for lunch. There's paid street parking, but we didn't have a problem finding a spot. The whole place had a cozy vibe to it, so I was already feeling good about my choice - also shout out to the lovely woman who was running the whole front of house on her own (sorry I didn't catch your name!).

I ordered the Teriyaki Rice Bowl with Chicken and my partner wanted the Korean Steak and Cheese but they were sold out because it was so popular so he got the House Burger instead. The presentation on everything was beautiful and a fairly large portion size. Plus, more importantly, the food was delicious!! It came out from the kitchen piping hot and perfectly made - they nailed cooking the burger to medium rare which some places have a hard time with. I took half of my large rice bowl home so I could eat it for dinner later today, and so I could have room for dessert. I don't have dessert pictures (oops) but we both ordered the daily special of a chocolate chip cookie sundae. The cookies were a little more crunchy than I was expecting, but the entire dessert was incredible and everything tasted (and was) scratch made.

I would totally recommend this place! And I would love to come back here sometime soon to try out their dinner menu. And they get bonus points because we shared our food pictures with my mom back home in Canada and she was...

Place looks decent. Prices way to high for the food they serve. My daughter and I visited during a high school student conference at Tsongas Arena. She ordered a lamb burger which was over cooked even though she specifically said medium rare. I ordered wings which came to me burned, and I mean completely black on one side (all of them). These wings were obviously charred and the cook as well as the server had no hesitation bringing them out. I had to return them. When I asked for the check, I was given the wrong one. When mine finally came, it had an automatic 20% SERVICE FEE. When I asked about it I was told that it was a tourist fee and that they add it whenever there are tourist events such as conferences. This is soooooo offensive! So instead of welcoming "tourists", they punish you for visiting. I would think they would be happy to have tourists/visitors in this dead small town. I've never seen this before in any other US state or country I've visited. A tip is earned, not imposed. Food was horrible. Their tourist fee is offensive....

Fuse is the place I used to bring visitors and relatives to when they are in town. Local farm fresh food. Organic when possible Update 4/3/2019 So I enter Fuse today after being home for about 6 weeks after a 5 month hospital stay. Order a beer and a bourbon while waiting for my meeting attendees to show up. I notice a dude near the end of the bar. That I had seen at the old court. When I stopped in earlier to talk to one of the owners. He disappeared down the hall towards the rest room. Bartender went into kitchen. Couple minutes later bartender comes back. Says she can't serve me because"I got out of the hospital". I said who told you that. It's a HIPAA violation. That was 2 months ago. I texted one of my group to let them know what was happening. I started to get up.to leave. I told the only other guy at the bar. To mind his own F&@N business when you don't know what you're talking about. As I turned to leave he said I going to F%cking destroy you. Charged me knocking off my crutches into a bunch of chairs. I left and...

A small intimate bistro. The service was excellent. I ate the braised short rib risotto, a special they offered. The risotto was cooked perfectly. The short rib meat was shreeded and blended in nicely with the risotto. It was a decent amount of meat. Maybe it could have used a bit more meat, but still, it was great. We also had the vegan burger, which was actually really good. Im not vegan, and I was impressed. It had a char grill type of flavor and seasoned well. The presentation of the burger was interesting. It had a perfect round shape. We both got the chocolate martini, which was delicious with the right amount of foam on top. We also had a beer and a glass of wine. The atmosphere was laid back, nice vibe, and not loud at all. I definitely recommend this place. My first time in Lowell, I was very pleased.

Tuna BLT: Great big cut of tuna with tasty blackened rub. Bacon has great flavor. Could have used a more flavorful spread/ sauce. Baby lettuce Salad w. Tuna: Same cut as the Tuna BLT, big fresh piece very tasty. Overall too much sweetness between the pecans, dressing and walnuts. Minimal amount of pickled veggies. Mainly lettuce. Besides the tuna very unexciting. Gruyere Tater Tots: Mashed potato stuffed full of cheese. Perfect balance of soft inside and crunchy crispy outside. Two bites per tot, they're so big! Highlight of the meal. Over all giving 4 stars due to the large pieces of quality tuna, and the delish tots knocking it slightly above average. There is a promise of more original creations in the menu that we didn't get a chance to sample.
