Stumbling upon Lou’s Deli during a deli expedition was a stroke of luck. This cozy Lowell gem exudes a nostalgic charm that evokes a sense of familiarity. With a menu boasting an impressive selection of sandwiches, Lou’s Deli stands out with their tantalizing creations. On my first visit, I relished in the Spicy Italy, a flavor explosion of mortadella, sopressata, capicola, and pepperoni, topped with chipotle mayo and just the right amount of heat. My second visit saw me savoring the Tony Soprano, a classic combination of meats, provolone, and fresh veggies. Both sandwiches were exceptional, showcasing the deli’s attention to quality and flavor. The service at Lou’s Deli is top-notch, with friendly staff eager to ensure a satisfying dining experience. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it an ideal spot for a casual lunch or a quick bite to go. Lou’s Deli has quickly become one of my favorite deli destinations, and I highly recommend it to anyone craving a delectable and nostalgic sandwich experience.

Great find! We were in the area on a Saturday afternoon, found Lou's Deli with good reviews and headed straight over. We were greeted and welcomed up to the counter and shown the menu and also how we could build our own sandwiches. Hubby and I each had The Paulie which was delicious - pesto and balsalmic were amazing and the bread was perfect! We also shared a Cobb salad (it was gorgeous and fresh- sorry no pic - it went too fast!). Overall - friendly service, delicious fresh food, reasonable prices for the quality, cool vibes/ambiance, and clean too! Would definitely return and highly recommend!

One of the best BLT(A)s iv had in two years, and the peanut butter breath smoothie was really good too. Bread was lightly toasted, just the right amount of bacon and fresh sliced avocado, plus well priced for its size. It was not overly heavy and ultimately rather satisfying to eat (like texture wise or whatever). Smoothie was not overly nutty, sweet, or banana-ey, making it very refreshing. It was also not super viscus, meaning it was a bit easier to actually drink. Defiantly going to be coming back here for lunch more often (need to try the beef dip and the Ruben!)

Great! Sometimes my wife and I are craving excellent sandwiches but they are far and few between for places to choose from.

I'm glad we found this place online and I decided to take a quick drive from Dracut to grab us some sandwiches. The sandwiches were excellent, the staff was super friendly, the place was practically spotless and nicely laid out for you to sit and enjoy your meal or just hang out and shoot the breeze.

Everyone that was dressed professionally, everyone was courteous and the food spoke for itself.

I forgot to mention that the prices are excellent as well, they were about 5 to 6 dollars cheaper than I would have thought they would have been per sandwich. I will 100% be back...

I’ve been going to this place for a year or two now just because the sandwiches are amazing, but today I had an experience that drove me to write a review. I’m sitting by the window about to eat a sandwich and a woman down on her luck motions to me that she is hungry and she wants food. I hesitate for a moment before wrapping up half my sandwich and I started to bring it outside for her, but the employee stopped me and said “don’t worry man I got it” and brought her out a fresh sandwich and a water. This was an amazing act of kindness and just makes me love this place that much more. Come...
