This may just be because it was packed, but there isn't much good I can say about this restaurant. We had to share a table and waited an hour and a half for food, and that's understandable most of the tables were full and it's a small restaurant, but that's not why I'm giving a low review. My water was served in a dirty styrofoam cup, my food was undercooked, the forks were dirty, people that came in after us got served first, and when my friend asked about it the man she talked to took a plate from another table and handed it to us. It wasn't her order, and he'd already started eating.

He thought it was our food because he's been setting other peoples orders on random tables (including ours) while getting mad at the other people working there instead of serving.

The guy that had his food taken away tried to say something but the man had already walked away. When he came back he said we weren't waiting that long and she shouldn't have asked. Again, we waited for over an hour and a half and people that came in after us were served.

Our actual waitress was getting our food while this all happened, and she handed the food back and apologized on his behalf. The only reason I'm giving another star is because most the waitresses working there were very polite throughout the...

Today my boyfriend and I tried Viet Thai and were pleasantly surprised to find that the pho went above and beyond! Not only did it have a rich flavorful beef broth similar to china town, it also had better prices than anywhere I've seen in town. The pho came in normal sized pho bowls but were packed with huge portions of noodles and beef. The egg rolls were also great. Authentic with a delicious fish sauce. The main event here was the Vietnamese BBQ beef sandwich. This is nothing like an american bbq sandwich. Instead, it has no sauce, but the most flavor packed, yet light, marinade on the beef. The beef is cut thin and is just bursting with flavor. Its paired with cucumber, carrots, and cilantro. Words can't do this sandwich justice. A must try for yourself! It was quite literally the best sandwich of my life at the low cost of $5! We are planning to return to have the sandwich...

Fried chicken wings are the best fried chicken wings I’ve ever had. All other dishes like beef noodle, flat noodle, red curry with chicken, etc are excellent. The only part I don’t like is serving. There were multiple times they totally forgot one of our orders, gave us wrong orders, brought appetizer way after main dishes served, etc. I’m not sure this is the result of language barrier issue, but I have to say I’m little nervous whenever I go there because what’s going to happen with my orders. Even with this problem, I will be still going this little gem because the food are genuinely good.

Update 2/8/23 : Last 5 visits, we’ve not have any problems of getting the right orders and the new staff seem more professional and efficient than before. The food taste is still amazing. Our family really likes this restaurant...

This was always my go-to Vietnamese restaurant in Lowell. The service here is usually pretty good and the wait staff are very friendly. Yesterday I ordered a bunch of food and 1 of them was pho special. My husband went to pick it up and brought it home for me to eat (because I was sick). After finishing half of the noodle soup, I noticed something floating in it. I looked closer and noticed it was a tiny cockroach 🪳 floating in there. Aaargh, IT WAS DEFINITELY DISGUSTING! This is not the 1st time I saw cockroach there. I saw it crawling in the buffet table before the pandemic. I mentioned it to the waitstaff and thought they took care of it...I guess they didn't. FYI: My house does not have cockroaches or any bugs

Delicious pho. I decided to try the combo plate and the spare ribs were pretty much ALL fat. The crab rangoons were decent but nothing special, same with the egg rolls. The fried rice was good. For $13.50 for the combo plate it was decent. As I was checking out I noticed a $0.50 charge for a take out container. Kinda crazy they charge that since it was a take out order. Not sure why they charge that, am I supposed to bring my own Tupperware? Kinda odd if you ask me. The Tom Yum was pretty good. I don’t think I’d get the combo plate again but it wasn’t horrible. I tried the egg soda and it was very delicious! I want to try their soups again but maybe I’ll bring my own bowl next time….jk

Old school family owned. Authentic Thai cuisine. My cousin and I shared Bon Rieu which is a seafood noodle soup with shrimp and crab. Incredible. Papaya salad was amazing. Chicken wings so crispy. Beef Laab was so flavorful and perfect texture (if you know what I mean). I had a Thai iced tea and my cousin had the egg soda. It was like a creme brûlée beverage - so refreshing! Definitely go for an early dinner because the place gets packed after work. We went at 3:30 and there was a steady flow of customers dining in and grabbing take out. You can see why it’s a pillar in the community!
