Worthen House Cafe — Restaurant in Lowell

Worthern employees are very hostile. They do a horrible job at conflict management and one of their bartenders, Marissa, is very vindictive, rude, and racist. Worthern is a dump. Bar fights, stabbings, the second floor will eventually cave in. I do not recommend anybody go to Worthern. Marissa is a racist.

P.s. Their are very few places to unwind in Lowell, but out of the few most Lowellians frequent, I would have to say that this is the worst bar in the whole town. They earned the reputation. I am never going back. And if you are African/African American, you really shouldn't either.

Your dismissal of my account signifies that even when one of your patrons are targeted and lied against you will never take responsibility for the ill-mannered employee, and instead just avoid them at all costs and form an invisible force field where an individual is disbarred from enjoying their town. I've had it with the Worthern and their incredulous posse. Yesterday, as I sat at the bar a woman walked up to me and asked me if I had served in the military before. I asked why and she said it was because the way I carried myself --- poised and self-contained. She gave me great praise for just watching a hockey game. Didn't ask for it. When Marissa shows up to work I am suddenly out the door arguing with the doorman.You see how bias could have played a part in this? This is how it all began. I asked a woman if she was occupying the seat between us. Marissa just buds in the conversattion and says I am in the lady's way. Which I was not. There was a barstool of space between us, so can you see the foul lies that go on at the Worthern? Things swiftly descend for no other...

The worthen house is a staple of lowell generosity and fair care. The waitresses and cooks make the best food and drunks you could ask for at anytime of the afternoon till the the late am. The meatloaf is a tasty cuilinary treat that melts in the mouth filled with veggies and potatop drizzled in fantastic gravy made to make any man moan. If you find yourself looking for a good pint look no further as the worthen will provide you with a huge selection of local and far away beers. If your a punk this is the place for you live music in the upstairs a bit hot but the fire music makes up for it all. The amount of stickers licks the air with taste for high quality local musicians that have strutted their stuff through here for years making your night dance away as you stomp your feet through these legendary halls. If your about history like me these halls have hosted legendary poets such as Edgar allen poe and his compatriots of fine word and pen. The origianl fan that you can see adorning the ceiling has been here longer then any man alive been on this planet worked by a fine belt and cleaned quite regularly.
