I am a donut fiend which by definition makes me a donut snob. I have been obsessed with donuts since I was a teenager, and as an adult in my mid-thirties that hasnt changed. Everywhere I go, I look for a donut shop. Lowell has many donut shops with the newest addition being Mochinut. Mochi donuts were a new phenomenon for me but I embraced the challenge and promptly fell in love with the chewy yet fluffy texture that is a a Mochi donut. Mochinut also offers boba tea and Korean style corn dogs. I can say the Brown Sugar Boba is one of my favorites in the city and havent yet tried the Korean corn dogs. My favorite flavors of donuts are: Sesame, Fruity Pebble, Original, Mango and Biscoff.

Came in today for the first time to try their Mochi donuts, Korean corn dog & milk tea. The donuts were amazing, but expensive @ $3+ a donut. The Korean corn dog was very disappointing, it tasted completely like burnt/old oil and that’s all I could taste as it overpowered the corn dog! For $6.50 this was really upsetting because I couldn’t even eat it! The milk tea was good but I paid for brown sugar milk tea w/ boba and there was hardly any brown sugar syrup in it. I hope it was just an off day as I was excited when this opened in Lowell.

Mochinut! A cross of a Japanese mochi and American doughnuts gets you a mochinut! Delicious puffy and crispy (in a shape of what looks like one of those flowers you drew as a kid) treat. Many flavor combinations. Oh, they have these hotdogs (corndogs) that are a must try. I had the crispy ramen half and half which is half cheese and half hot dog. Yes it had crispy ramen over the corndog and I recommend you to get out of your comfort zone and try it. The owners of the local Mochinut are very friendly and caring.

My niece has been wanting to try Mochinut donuts since they opened a few weeks ago. I wanted to treat her to a fun girls night. As part of our evening we stopped by to grab some donuts. We got 6 flavors: churro, strawberry, fruity pebbles, chocolate, cookies n cream, and coconut; total came to about $20. These are specialty donuts, so of course they will be a little pricier than a chain place like DD. What we loved about these donuts was the texture! They had such a beautiful fluffy chew to them, and the shape makes them easily tearable to share with friends, which is what we did. All of the donuts were yummy and it was hard to choose a favorite, but the churro was definitely a star! I read a previous review from someone stating that the donuts tasted oily, I personally did not experience that. The woman working the register was so friendly and recommended a few of her favorites to us. They rotate the flavors they sell daily, so we will be back to try more soon! They also sell Korean corn dogs, and bubble tea, but we did not try those. There is street parking available , and since it is pretty much in the center of downtown it is close to a couple parking garages and a decent walking distance. I can see this being a popular spot for high school aged patrons, being so...

IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS I WOULD!!!!!!! I was incredibly disappointed with mochinut. I came here because my children had been begging to come for weeks and I ordered 4 donuts, 2 corndogs and bubble tea. To start off the food was ridiculously overpriced, the donuts were hard it seemed as though they had left them out at least 3 days and it looked like there was a mold spur on one of them but I was told it was just the frosting. But I brushed it off because I like to keep an open mind. Then when my wife and I got our corndogs they were very greasy and soggy and when I informed Tracy (who I was told was the manager) she completely ignored me and rolled her eyes. The bubble tea was extremely sweet even my sugar addicted kids spat it out. Also the cleanliness of this place was below average. The floors were extremely sticky I almost fell and could’ve hit my head! It looked like there was mouse droppings on the floor. When we arrived home my whole family was very sick for the next 2 days little Johnny was crying all night. Thanks a lot mochinut! I won’t ever come back. I don’t know how anyone could give this more than 1 star. I’d rather let...

First time in this Location. The Service here needs a little bit more improvement on being more attentive towards their customers. Waited in line for 20 minutes with other patiently waiting customers while the workers were in the back joking around with other workers. Wanted to order more items on their menu but they told the customer in front of us that they were sold out of everything except the donuts. Donuts were good and would try again. Would like to suggest that the workers be more aware and attentive not letting customers wait so long in line to be taken care of. The Scenery was colorful. Lots of choices to sit down. Great place to take pics for Foodies Lovers or dates or casual meet ups. Other than that I give it a 4 star because the donuts...
