Dave and Busters in Camp Hill is Awesome. I hope the owner reads this.

There are 2 managers in particular that are MORE THAN AWESOME. Scott and Jared, I think that is how you spell their names. They are wonderful. I have been there a great deal since they open and I always see them interacting with customers and more importantly, I see them interacting with the employees as if they are all best friends. I asked a few of the employees and they all say they love them.

I am not a big fan of the owners choice of Store Manager, he is not very friendly and doesn't seem like he is a great fit for this store. I assume he is related to the owner and that is how he got that position. I can't believe the owner overlooked Scott and Jared. Not saying there are not other managers in there that are nice, but those two stand out above all.

If the owner reads this or someone in decision making, I would certainly rethink the Store Manager. I assume it isn't easy to just change, and one persons view is not going to make you change, but talk to the employees and I believe you will hear the same thing. I asked different people on different days and they all seem to think he is a stuck up or something. They probably won't tell the owner, but they don't like him a great deal.

Also, I think it is great you have armed officers there for security, I have seen 1 there multiply times and he seems to get along with the employees as well. Young white male black shirt, pants and boots. I have talked to him a few times and he told me he loves it there. I asked him about the store manager and he declined to answer. But he is an awesome guy as well. Always has a smile on his face and says hi and talks to everyone.

1 last thing I would like to mention, is no one there knows what time the store closes. When you ask, they tell you 12:00am and then later they say they are told 11:00pm and then back to 12:00am. There are no signs on the door posted of the store hours and the times online were not the times last week. So, I can't review on the hours as not even the store can get it together to make that decision. I wonder if that is the Store Manager as well.

I have nothing against the store manager, other than he doesn't fit in very well with the crowd. He is NOT outgoing at all. But, I doubt that will change. I do think this store will go downhill if he is kept on.

I don't know the names of the employees but they seem to like their job too. Always smiles on their faces.

To the food, man that food is good. I have had the burgers, cheesesteak, ribs and others, goodness. Fast and Hot. Taste so good. You have to try the food.

I could go on, but no one cares. So, from the employees, security and managers, down to food and games, this place is awesome. I won't let 1 manager let me downgrade...

It was mostly the slow service that soured this experience. I was the first of a party of eight to arrive for happy hour. A hostess greeted me and directed me to pick any table in a section of high tops even though I stated a preference to wait at the bar for the rest of my party. I sat at the table long enough to decide on a drink and appetizer. Since I hadn’t seen a server I moved to the bar to order a drink and wait. I saw another of my party arrive. No one had greeted him and he grabbed a table on the other side of the bar that after the fact we suspect was a section without a server assigned yet. As more of our party arrived, a person took our drink order and food order. A different person later took the order for the rest of our party. As most of our food and some of our drinks from the first order hadn’t arrived by the time the second order arrived, we ordered again. We were unhappy that it took 2 hours for everyone in our party to get their food. After dinner we moved onto games. My power card hadn’t been used in over a year although I had just recharged it online and it was not recognized by the games. A polite attendant was nice enough to stop and confirm it wasn’t working and someone else would have to help me. At the front desk there were two people assisting a member of another party with some problem related to their own account. I waited and waited as two other people queued behind me. Eventually another worker came over to observe the person being helped. I noted they have three computers at the desk and could assist more people. I initially snapped a picture to post with the review, but decided that would be rude. Eventually someone dressed as a manager hurried over, swiped a card on the computer, and hurried away. That seemed to resolve that problem. My own issue was then resolved in about 30 seconds. We stayed for another two hours of happily inebriated gaming. It was a later evening than any of us expected, but we had a lot to drink while waiting...

I was motivated to write a 1 star review due to the recent run-in with the corporate which incompetently ran the Phantom Fun campaign. We legitimately solved a clue via different phones, and obtained unique QR codes which entitles 100 game chips to be added to the Power Cards. Since not all of us play, I went ahead and had the QR codes scanned and applied to my Power Card without error. Lo and behold, a week later when I tried to use the card, it could not be read. The manger said it was locked and I had to call corporate. I did and the corporate said since I loaded the same reward multiple times on the same card, they considered it a "fraud" and they revoked all of my game chips earned from this contest. I considered the IT department incompetent -- OK I didn't read the fine prints, but why did the staff and the system allowed me to load the game chips on the same card; and why did I have to lose ALL of the game chips?!

Not worth it to pursue the Better Business Bureau route for this incident. I wasted so much time already with the contest and the support staff in vein.

I decided it is unfair to punish this local location for the corporate's failed campaign. I've always had positive experience with this location, especially Todd, who is always friendly and attentive with my take out orders. Not sure how many managers there are in total, but 4 out of 5 I've interacted with were nice, friendly and civil. The dining areas are modern and inviting. The location is super convenient, right inside the Mall so the family members who don't play can spend time in the mall instead of being held hostage at the arcade. Don't sleep on the food here!! Specials rotate every few weeks. The Asian shrimp app they had a few weeks ago was bomb, right now they're running Mexican themed specials with a mini taco burger that looked so good. My go to is the chicken avocado club - it comes with lettuce, cheese, bacon, tomato, and ranch with a good portion of chicken. It is so good. The fries are really good as well. We've also tried the Parmesan chicken entree (really bomb), burgers (cooked perfectly medium as requested and so juicy), and fish and chips (huge fish portion). For apps, I recommend the creole shrimp dip or nachos. The pretzel is huge and looks good, but I haven't gotten to try it yet. They also have power card specials for the games that can be purchased with your food. The alcoholic drinks are good - I usually only need 1 but I'm a lightweight. The servers have always been awesome and attentive, and managers do come by tables to make sure everything came out okay. Definitely will be back!!

Remodel looks good. Games are always fun! Rewards are a little tricky when checking out with your server now because of the machines they use, but still easy if you don't have any free food to redeem. I suggest getting the D&B app, points accrue and this visit was totally free!! (A $100 value on all food and drinks) because we are Level 8 on their tier system!! One of the best rewards cards to have!! Before you go!! Also, check clipp.com for money-saving offers BEFORE u arrive! **Note that clipp offers are NOT valid on game-day Wednesday (50% off games day). However, if you buy the clipp offers on a diff day and go ahead of time to redeem in store, you can leave right away and use that card on Wed (again 50% off games)! Server was attentive and helpful and no alcohol was ordered this day, but lots of happy hours drink specials for $5! Check them out!!
