My friends and I went to JCPENNY in camp hill to do a little shopping for our girls day. I bought almost $200 for my first transaction. When we went to the mall, we were showing off what we got since they also purchased from other stores in the mall. I was telling my friends that I have items that were not in the receipt. My friends insisted that we go back to the store which I totally agree because that’s the right thing to do. When we came back, I told the cashier with the associate number 0645 and the lady who bag my stuffs, I believed her name is Kayla about the extra merchandise in my bag that were not scanned. I handed them the items that are in my bag and told them I came back to repurchase them. To my surprise, the lady who rang my first purchase told me, “you should have just kept the items and not come back”. She then proceeded to ask her colleague Kayla if she remembered bagging these stuffs. That Kayla said No. I was so embarrassed and felt humiliated because what are they trying to say? That I stole these items? I told the cashier that I am just trying to be honest here and I wanted these items. I was left speechless. I told them, that they can run their camera. Neither the cashier nor the other lady apologized for the mixed up. After the transaction, they didn’t even say Thank you for coming back or have a good day. NOTHING. Is this how you make your customers feel? I used to love this place but no more. That second transaction was almost $100. Maybe this is nothing for you but my dignity and conscience are far greater than $100. I will never ever forget how these people...
Read moreOn Wednesday 4/12/2024, yesterday at 8 pm, I bought a jacket and a tie . When I got home I found it didn't match the blouse. I prepared it today, Thursday 5/12/2024 afternoon, 4 pm . The employee told me that it could not be returned, and she even (smelled the jacket ) as if I had used it and returned it!!! Everything is there, the price tag, the jacket, the tie, and the bill , but she doesn't want to return it !!!!!
I told her to put the jacket back in the bag so I could get it. She told me to do it myself. She get bag from the trash and gave it to me to put my jacket in! I told her to give me a new bag but she refused and then insisted for the second time that she give me a new bag!!!!
I had to come back with a jacket and tie, even though I wasn't comfortable in them!!! I will not come back here again, if you want to buy something, be sure that she will not come back except based on the (((employee's mood))) …
Is there a respectable store that returns the bag form garbage to customer to use?

Was at the store looking for a scarf that I saw online and was available in store, so I asked this old woman a jcp employee named Janet a store associate/ cashier at jcp and she was just rude insulting and had no customer service etiquette and she has worked here for 10 years !! Totally unprofessional and unprovoked uncalled for behavior on her end !! She said should all of us stop what we are doing and go look for your scarf she was beyond rude and incase she wasn’t aware her job is to help customers out! Just rude and most impolite & unprofessional woman! Bad experience at this location camp hill capital city mall! I tried to contact the store manager Mike but couldn’t get a hold of him. Just shows jcp standards have fallen due to having mannerless staff like Janet on the floor!
