Was at this location few months ago, explained was just window shopping with my son's gf for rings. Basically just seeing what she likes and looks good on her. She found a very pretty ring. The employee made snide comment why would she want a cheaper ring they have so much more to look at. We left immediately! (Zales and Littmans was so polite gave suggestions, showed some more expensive but explained how when a sale is going on they are such a great value then etc. Basically polite and helpful) That was strike one for this place! Yesterday stopped in to buy that "cheaper" ring at Kay's of course they did not have it. We waited over 10mins without someone even saying we will be right with you. No hello.... nothing! So waited patiently until my friend stopped an employee, my friend had few questions while I continued to look around. The lady asked if anything wanted to see, I commented that the ring I wanted was not there anymore. Not once did she offer to order it, not once did she offer to look at another store to see if they have it, not once did she ask what the ring even looked it! She handed us off to another gentlemen, which was semi cocky. Actually quite off putting attitude. To the point I was ready to let the jewelry I was buying let sit there. I would advise going to another Kay's location as this one has very poor...
Read moreIn-store the service is decent and salespeople were patient as I had to bounce back and forth between stores to repeatedly compare similar items. However, after calling for days about a wedding ring which I've heard nothing back about a week ahead of the date, I have only gotten someone to answer the phone once. There is no voicemail, not even a corporate one. The number is right since it's directly from this Google listing, and they have picked up one time. I live in a different city and can't just drop by. You would think with the amount of $$$ potentially at stake for the store they would have some kind of effective system in place to serve customers. Recommend the folks at Littman's across the mall hallway for much better...

I always remember the service at this location to be poor but based off my most recent experience I am compelled to write a review to hopefully spare you the same service discrimination I received, as well as file a complaint with the BBB and never ever return to the Kay's in the Capitol City Mall for as long as I live.
The Employees at the Carlisle Kay's are sweet, & welcoming.
I have over 30 diamonds in my engagement ring and had a wedding band made over 14 years ago. To date, I have not had one loose stone in either ring. I am very pleased with the jewelry, the craftsmanship. Too bad the customer service...
