The service and people are very nice and friendly, but the food leaves much to be desired. I go here regularly as I work nearby, been going once or twice a week for about a year, and i can't recall one time I got a large fry that was actually full. They sometimes mess up my order, even though I order it the same way everytime I get different results. The fries are often cold, or there is a mix of fresh fries and old fries that is not good at all, combine this with the fries never being full and it's just aggravating. If you are getting a non-special order, you're probably fine, but for someone like me who asks for things off the sandwich it's a bit of a risk. Additionally, there have been times when they are busy and they are not using their second order point, so I sit there with my window open waiting to be helped only to get the annoying "please pull forward to the next order point" recording when the person in front finishes.
As a former McDonalds employee, not this one obviously, I understand some of these problems are not the crew members fault, but the managements rules. Some managers refuse to throw out fries, rather they dip them back in the oil to "freshen them up", or they fill the fries themselves with less product just to save product costs, or they send home employees to cut labor (the percent paid to employees based on the earnings that hour) when the employees are necessary to keep the drive thru, grill, and lobby moving. I am not implying this McDonalds does this, I just know from experience that many of the problems caused are by crew people just doing as their told trying to avoid write ups. Read moreI ordered 6 mcdoubles with no buns from this location on door dash. I received 3 and none of them had cheese. I decided to just get a partial refund from doordash and eat the three remaining burgers. I get to the last one and bite into something big and crunchy with a strange taste. I spit it out and it was something black.. I still have no clue what it was except that it wasn't burger. Sick to my stomach and upset I grab what was left and took it to the restaurant and asked them what it was. The one lady who said she was a manager(wearing no name tape) tells me that it's burnt burger. The other manager walked into the back saying that it wasn't their fault. From the texture, weird taste, and the way that what ever it was fell apart in my mouth I can assure you that it wasn't burger. I was told by the McDonald's staff that I would have to contact doordash for a refund, and door dash tells me that they have to complete an investigation before issuing a refund. Also! I have taken my 8 year old daughter to dine in at this location and the employees were cussing loudly in front of us. I understand that this is McDonald's and that its hard to find employees right now, but whatever happened to a sense of professionalism and structure for the paying customer. I waited patiently for someone to take my order at Drive thru....there was NO LINE....I had to say "excuse me" for someone to come on...when they FINALLY did...there was so MUCH chatter/noise in the background the person taking my order could NOT hear what I wanted. I ordered 1 fish sandwich....went to pick up my order....I was handed a too small bag with my boxed Fish Fillet....when I opened the box, the fish filet was upside down. No napkins in the bag ...I showed it to the girl....she said I'm a "new hire" no excuse! Someone needs to be training the new and younger staff! This is NOT the first time I ordered a fish sandwich where it wasn't smashed and smeared half off the bun! We, the consumers are paying ALOT of freakin $$$ for our orders! We need to get it right!
