I've been ordering here for 4 years. It used to be fantastic. Used to have great food and service. I'm not sure if there's a new owner or new employees, but the past year, service has been getting worse. My order has been messed up, twice. Yes, I know to check it, but when you're ordering subs or bolis, you don't really know until you but into it. Another time they gave me someone else's order completely. When I called to tell them, no apology, no credit, nothing. Tonight, I called to place an order. I had completed my order when I was asked if I could "hold a sec." I said sure. Next thing I know, I was hung up on. I waited, no call back. I tried calling back. No answer. So, I proceeded to go pick up my order. However, it was never placed. The guy working the counter tried to blame me for it. Yeah, I walked out. Not sure why the decrease in service, but it...
Read moreYou know, I've had mixed feelings about this place. The food, I think, is very good, especially since the restaurant comes across as a place that shouldn't have good food. For Italian food, it's delicious. The pizza is good, the subs are even better, and the hot foods seems good though neither I nor anyone I've been out with have eaten it. So if you're looking for quality of food, you've found a good place. Since the place seems geared more for take-out as opposed to dine-in, the interior is cramped and relatively unappealing. My only real complaint is that it's pricey. Everything you want will nickel and dime you. You want something different in your sub? That's a fee. Different meat? Fee. On an already over-priced sub. Which is mostly lettuce anyways. Is it good food? Absolutely. Is it worth the price? Well, that's for you to decide. Decent...
Read moreWe tried Nikoli's years ago because it was conveniently located between work and our daughter's daycare. We would swing by on the way to picking her up in the evening. While it's been 8 years since Nikoli's was on our way home, we still make the extra trip when we can because we LOVE their pizza. Our girls ask whenever we bring a pizza home, "Is it Nikoli's?" and if it isn't, BIG disappointment! It's the only shop that offers an extra large which really is perfect for our family of four. We've had their subs, salads, and stromboli all of which are good. The extra bonus are their offering of cannoli's. But it's the pizza that gets us there even though we have numerous other shops closer to our home. Nikoli's is like getting Philly or NYC pizza in Central PA and you can't get...
