Richman's Ice Cream — Restaurant in Lower Chichester Township

I love that richmans offers gluten free cones! They don't always have them but that's no biggie, I just appreciate sometimes being able to get an ice cream cone! I usually get the salted caramel soft serve with chocolate sprinkles but today I got the orange soft serve with pineapple topping and chocolate sprinkles. I really liked it! And my dog was happy with her treat (vanilla ice cream between two milk bones). It's so hard to find gluten free ice cream shops so I really appreciate being able to eat at richmans! Their ice cream sucks. It doesn’t taste anything like Dairy King’s soft serve. Also dairy king (the original owners) trained the employees to make a cone so that the ice cream wouldn’t fall off or drip down your hands while you ate it. When the Jones’ bought it, it would drip all over and even worse when I left Richman’s, I walked about ten feet and the whole top of the ice cream fell on the ground. While the ice cream is delicious, it is a bit pricey in comparison to the days of The Dairy King. But, with the higher prices comes bigger portions. Everything you get there is huge, which makes up for the higher prices. The service is good, just not the old mom and pop shop family feeling where the owner remembers your favorite treat from when you were a little girl.
