This ordering experience was terrible from start to end, and I want some kind of recompense before ever buying from this store again.
We arrived around the time the order was supposed to be ready and asked the woman working the register on the status of our pizza. She looked at the computer and told us 'two minutes'. At this point we noticed the board of orders and saw ours wasn't listed. We waited several more minutes without an update, and given the order wasn't on the board, checked the online status on my phone. The order was listed as 'picked up'. Went to the register again to alert them to this, a different associate checked the computer and started looking around the store for the order. It was sitting on the top shelf, and I would assume it had been sitting there since we asked the first time.
The associate put the pizzas on the counter for us to check. At this point, an individual in the back of the store called out to the associate, interrupting our transaction and yelled out 'any questions, you ask me, we're here to help you'. So, I can only assume the associate at the counter was a new hire and the guy calling from the back was the manager.
When we checked the pizzas, the pepperoni was missing from the Pacific Veggie. We pointed this out to the associate, he took it to the person who called out from the back, he took it to someone making the pizzas and pointed out the error. At no time did anyone other than the associate (the new hire) respond to us. The new hire told us they'd fix the problem, and left us with the second pizza. I asked him to keep it warm because by the time they recooked the problem pizza it would be cold.
Now, I assumed they would completely recook the incorrect pizza, but I was wrong. When we got home we discovered they had simply added some slices of pepperoni and half baked the pizza again. Everything underneath the pepperoni was lukewarm at best.
This has been an awful experience, with pathetic service and a terrible product delivered. Considering we paid almost $33 for just two pizzas, this store needs a serious review of management and response to...
Read moreExtremely rude customer service. I do understand that sometimes restaurants don’t have enough staffing causing the delivery to be late. That is totally fine to me as long as the store employees show some respect to customers when they call the store. Especially when the customer is very calm and asking politely.
I ordered the food at 3:50 pm using the Domino’s mobile app. My food didn’t arrive until 5:30, I decided to go out and eat at a local restaurant instead. So, I called them to cancel my order and I called a few times until they answered, by the time they answered I was on my way to eat at the restaurant. The lady who answered the phone was extremely rude when I told her to cancel my order, she shouted at me saying that “her driver” just left the store to deliver my order. I told her politely that it was too late, I’m already on my way to a restaurant so I don’t need it anymore. She hung up the phone without saying any further word, she didn’t confirm whether or not she was going to cancel the order and no word of apology for the inconvenience. After I was finished at restaurant, I called again to talk to the manager to check if she ever canceled my order and if I’m getting my refund. Someone answered the phone, with an extremely rude tone, just saying hello. No professionalism, no greeting. I could feel the rudeness in the tone of that hello. I again asked politely for a manager, and was surprised to know that he is the manager. I decided to not talk or complain to him and simply decided to boycott this store.
Message to franchise owner. Most of the time a customer can ignore a late delivery or even poorly prepared food if a polite apology is involved. However, customers can’t afford your store employees treating them with disrespect. Also this greatly impacts your driver’s tip. Most of the time people don’t tip well due to bad customer service not because of a late delivery or because they didn’t...
Read moreWorst Dominos I've ever visited, after placing an online order, my Fiance' and I drove to the store, want to Starbucks and got a couple coffees and walked over to domino's. Went to the counter, and was told it would be a further 2 mins, took a seat and waited, 15 minutes passed so we returned to the counter to ask again about our order. A different associate looked on the computer then found our order on the top shelf of the rack, which had been sitting there since we asked the first time. He presented the pizza's for us to check, and we discovered that one was missing pepperoni, the associate took the pizza back to who I assume from his big noting and interrupting the associate while helping us was the manager or supervisor, he showed him the error and the supervisor presented it to the associates topping the pizzas, they asked if we could wait a bit longer while they fixed the issue, we sat down, assuming they would remake the pizza. after a short time we received our pizza's they the first associate apologize and we left. When we returned home, we found that they has just thrown pepperoni on top of the pizza and half baked it again, and both pizza's were now cold. I've worked in retail for over 10 years and this was a perfect example of a complete failure of not only customer service but leadership, why the supervisor did not approach us and apologize for our inconvenience was one thing, but to see the mistake and let that fix go through is pathetic and frankly sad, after spend $36 dollars on full prices pizza's, you would think we would get just a bit more consideration. This store needs to have some serious training in customer service and management, both my fiance' and i were saddened and appalled by this store, and will look at Pizza Hut for a...
