Visiting my daughter at college for a couple days. First visit was great! Bagel was so warm and cream cheese nice and cold. Even though it was busy, the service was fast and friendly. Next day on a Monday (today), service was slow. Bagel a was cold and took forever and cream cheese was a melted mess. Clearly the bagel was toasted then let to sit in the kitchen until it became cold and a gloopy mess. There was no business happening. I asked about the bagel. I was told it’s being made in the kitchen. I had the bagels to go and they did not mark the wrapper to let me know which bagel was which so, of course, I opened the wrong one and the paper tote and the gloppy room temp liquidy cream cheese got everywhere. I asked for a ‘double decaf cappuccino.’ What I wanted was a large latte decaf, I guess. I was told ‘a double’ means two shots of espresso which is apparently standard anyway so what I ordered didn’t mean anything. Yes, I’m ignorant about coffee. Would have been nice if I was asked to clarify. Would go back again. Would order correctly next time and no more bagels. If you see the only guy who ordered and no one else waiting to order and he is just sitting there and all three of you are doing nothing except checking your insta, consider actually going in the back and checking why the bagels could be taking so long. After I waited and asked about the bagels it took a very long time. This is why the toasted bagels were a room...

My intentions were to grab a quick bite across the street when I noticed the Green Engine. Overall goal was to find something savory and continue satisfying my panini obsession. So glad I opted for the Green Engine instead!

Awesome vibe when you walk in and friendly staff! I'm ridiculously indecisive and they were patient - something I appreciate tremendously. I'm a work in progress lol

It was busy and I have a few items on my to-do list so I got my order to go. The line moves quickly and the wait was satisfactory. Long enough to know your food was fresh vs pre-made and microwaved, but not long enough to make you think the order was forgotten. 😁

I ordered the mushroom panini and the pumpkin honey latte. Both were so good!

It's the texture for me. It can make or break a panini. The chewiness of the cheese, crunch of the toasted bread and meatyness of the mushrooms were close to perfect.🤌🏾

I have an insatiable sweetooth, so the honey pumpkin latte was perfect for me. Great option for those who like a dose of sweetness to accompany the caffeine 😋

The food items aren't what I'd expect for the price. I've been 3 times now and twice I was let down. On my first visit, I ordered the bagel with garlic cream cheese and was blown away! It was incredible, so I was inclined to go back and try their other food items. The second visit, I ordered the Tuna Melt. For the price, I was surprised to find very poor quality tuna and felt like the flavors were... odd. I figured it may be a one off, so I went back for their Cuban sandwich. Again I wasn't impressed by the quality of the sandwitch and found the flavors odd again. By odd, I mean flavors you wouldnt traditionally find in these types of sandwiches. Now I will say the bread they use on the sandwiches is great, it's the content I'm not a big fan of. Additionally, their sandwiches dont come with sides which I was surprised by. I think going forward, I'll just stick with baked goods and coffee as those items have impressed me. Their atmosphere and staff is amazing as well! Overall it's a...

Easily one of the best coffee shops I’ve ever been to. The latte was phenomenal (decaf half-sweet vanilla latte with oat milk), and the food was outstanding—cashew butter toast with jam and figs, plus a breakfast wrap I can’t quite remember the name of, haha. 10/10 recommend. (*I partially ate the food before taking the video/photo, so that’s why it looks a little off, and I downed the latte before as well, ha!) The atmosphere was great—loved the bar seating by the window, and the chairs were actually a good size, not too small. The music was nice, and the service was awesome. The two guys at the counter and the barista who made my drink were all super kind. This is definitely my new go-to work spot. 🔥 Oh, and definitely try the pastries!

I met someone for an early morning business meeting over coffee and loved this little gem. Bright and cozy, right off of Lancaster Ave in Haverford. It was my first time there, and it's now a go-to going forward. I was being good, so didn't sample the tasty looking pastries but will next time. There were some amazing sounding coffee confections on offer and the person I was meeting is a real coffee affictionado and this is his go-to spot. Me, I have coffee only once a week (I decided today was the day). I'm not fancy with my coffee and I usually order it this way: "Coffee, room for cream". And that's exactly what they gave me, lol, and I was happy 😁!
