PrimoHoagies — Restaurant in Lower Merion Township

The 4 stars are the average between the 3 star food and the 5 star customer service. Called in an order for takeout for me and a friend. Went to pick up and decided to eat in. The guy at the register was super nice, both on the phone and in person. The 3 stars for the food is because the eggplant on my veggie hoagie was cold (like straight from tne fridge cold) and soggy even though I was told on the phone that they would put it in to cook right away and would be ready in 15 minutes. Is always hot and crispy when I get it from other Primos locations. Not sure why it wasn't heated but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and guess that it was a mistake. I've never visited this Primo location before today, and I can't say enough about my experience at Pat & Genie's store. I was in a real bind, needing a large hoagie tray and some sides for a lunchtime event on extremely short notice. I called the store as soon as they opened and had the pleasure of speaking with Pat. He was incredibly understanding and said he would work it out and get it done. Pat & Genie dropped everything to make sure my order was fulfilled, right on time, like they had said. Their kindness and willingness to help me out in a crunch was refreshing. There's not many people today who would do something like this. I ordered my catering meal at about 10:30am. Yesterday for pick up at 4:30. When I arrived at 4:30 my order was not ready.they told me I would have to wait for my coleslaw and Mozzarella balls for 5 mins. 20 mins later they still did not have my order complete. I cancelled the Mozzarella balls and was told I would get a credit. Which as of now I still do not have on my CC acct. When I got home we realized there was no tomatoes or lettuce. For any of the sandwiches. Really disappointing and the hoagies were just plain bad no lettuce, tomatoes and a woefully inadequate amount of meat.
