Came in for a couple of drinks. After having 1 drink and one beer, I was left with an empty beer. There were about 8 people sitting at the bar. For about 15 minutes, I sat there with an empty beer waiting for the bartender to even look in my direction. He was too focused on the two young ladies that had come into the bar, ignoring the rest of the bar. So, I turned my beer bottle upside down in hopes he would look in my direction and see that my beer is empty. Finally, another young lady comes in next to me to order drinks. He cards her and gets her drinks. But, completely ignores my empty upside down beer bottle. This was the first time he came to my end of the bar. The bartender greeted, carded, poured, handed, took payment and gave change to this young lady who was right next to me. When he walked away, I yelled at him and asked him if I need to throw my beer at him to get his attention next time. Then, he tells me that all I had to do was ask. Yet, he never introduced himself to me or gave me his name. I told him, my beer is upside down how else do you want me to show that my beer is empty? Yes there was some vulgarity from me; however, I was quite enraged by the complete lack of attentiveness by the bartender. At that point, he closed out my tab and asked me to leave. At this point, I wasn't staying anyways so I didn't care. Never once did he apologize for his lack of attention. He said "I should have put my beer closer to the end of the bar". The bar was not busy one bit. There are plenty of ways of de-escalating a situation. Telling a "guest" what he did wrong is not one of them. I give one star because of the poor service. I can't rate the food because I was never offered a menu or asked if I was hungry my entire visit. I spent over a decade training bartenders, the main part of bartending is knowing who has a drink in front of him or her and looking around the bar at every guest that is seated at your bar and especially de-escalating situations. Your bartender...
Read moreMy friend and I were invited here. We are both 22. We ubered there since we had intentions of drinking, so we went inside to figure out where our friend was. We had never been there before and was unaware that there were multiple entrances and opted for the entrance by the pool table. We eventually decided that we wanted to go somewhere else that fit our vibe a little better. In the midst of us trying to coordinate with our friend, this lady came up to us (don't know what her name is, nor do I care to). She first asked for our IDs WHICH WE HAD, but since we weren't staying, i told her that we were waiting for our friend to make his way to us and we were going to leave. She responded with a very hostile "so what's the problem?!". At that point, I became very angry, but didn't want to cause a scene so we walked out and waited outside. She then FOLLOWS us outside and stands there talking very loudly about how we were underage, didn't have IDs, and harassed our friend by interrogating him once he finally found us. I understand we look young, but we are very much of age, and had our IDs physically on us. Either way, there was no need to be that aggressive and I believe She should consider herself lucky that we actually carry ourselves with grace and respect because it came very close to getting ugly. I don't recommend anyone go here if you value your peace. However, we will be returning with our very valid IDs just so this woman knows how embarrassing and childish her behavior actually was. Thank you, have a...
