Nudy's is a go-to place for us for a weekend lunch/brunch. Unlike some other places that are local favorites and ones we go to often (such as Annamarie's Place in Royersford), Nudy's stays open until 3 on the weekends, whereas those local favorites close at 12:30 or 1. Those longer hours are in and of themselves the biggest reason for us to come here.
As far as the selection at Nudy's goes, it is truly massive. They have practically every kind of sandwich, burger, pancake, and French toast imaginable so making a choice can be involved. Also unlike some other places, one can order from the lunch or breakfast menu at all times that they are open.
On this particular occasion of Easter Sunday 2024 when my wife and I came in to dine, I got a roasted pepper and goat cheese omelet while my wife got an ahi tuna sandwich. We also decided to get a stack of three chocolate chip pecan pancakes to split between the two of us. The food while plentiful, did need a lot of seasoning so we had to add for tabasco. That is something worth pointing out about Nudy's food; by default they will not add salt to their eggs and so it is entirely up to the customer to add salt, pepper, etc. per their own tastes. Once I realized that (after being informed by my hostess on a previous visit to their Phoenixville location), I have been more aware of the fact while dining at Nudy's and so on this particular occasion, I added salt, pepper, and tabasco per my own liking. Likewise, with my wife she had the need to add mayo to her bun because absent that her ahi tuna sandwich felt quite dry.
As far as service goes, our server, Jessica, was great. She attended well to our needs, got refills for my coffee, and all the condiments we needed during our meal.
Overall, while I would rate the quality of the food itself at Nudy's as average, it is the friendlier-than-typical service that I receive coupled with their vast selection and long hours, which gets me to rate them as a 4-star. I can see them being our go-to place for some...
Read more1st time to this Autobon location. Greeted by Hostess/ Cashier as soon as I walked in. Kaitlin ( alias Kate ), my server greeted me right away with a smile and her name. She gave proper time to decide what I was having. Special order of 2 eggs scrambled very soft/loose with a side of Mushrooms Onions & Broccoli no toast no potatoes. Came out looking good and piping hot. Nice plate appearance. Andrew, one of 2 managers on duty, brought me especially requested Franks Hot Sauce. Thank you. Kate checked back to make sure my food was cooked to my liking. I decided to order a 3rd scrambled egg. No problem. Came out within minutes. Then ordered Homemade Vegetable Soup. Excellent. Kate presented me with my check so that I did not have to wait. Also met Server Lisa who spoke with me. Complimented Server Jessica on her being very aware of keeping the server Isle cleaned up and stocked and waitressesing at the same time. Having been a former Red Lobster Manager, she stood out as very professional and I let her know it. She was humble & grateful as I Complimented her. The rest of staff was also friendly & helpful. Shared with Andrew & Cooper that Heinz ketchup also make Simply Heinz (ketchup without High Fructose Syrup.) They liked that idea for suggestion to the company. Atmospheric nice, bathrooms clean. Will return. Nice encouraging Sayings on wall 3 to be exact. Prices on my check were very fair. Did not get charged 3% on the use of my credit card. Thank you. Left happy & satisfied. Read moreI was a bit letdown after all the other reviews I read that were positive. Maybe on another day my experience will be better. I’m not sure why our server Gabriella ignored us the entire time we were sat but talked to the tables she was serving all round us. The only reason I learned her name is because it was on the receipt. Here is the details regarding our experience:
• We were seated and waited 15 minutes before anyone spoke to us. • When we were finally spoken to, there was no introduction and we were not brought any table settings or even offered water. • When our drinks came out (no water still) and had to ask a host passing by for straws and napkins. • French toast was cold and a letdown. The batter didn’t make it anywhere near the center of the bread and was also it was dry. The eggs were meh. Positives: • Banana Pancakes were well done and probably the reason we would return •Food came out fast. •The host was very friendly and sat us quickly. •After our food was brought our waiter or anyone else never checked on us or asked if we needed anything. •Really impressed with the portion sizes and the cost value . It was super affordable
Finally at the end our waiter came and asked us how it was, we took the receipt and went to pay. Overall would go again to try the crazy big menu … but maybe at a...
