I am usually very generous with my reviews as I don't cook myself, so pretty much anything tastes great. I have eaten at this buffet 30+ times in over 5 years but no more. It is now $8.75 for the lunch buffet and it is right next to my work. That combination used to be enough to get me to return. However the food and the service has been going steadily downhill. I usually get there around 11:45. It seems like 95 % of the food was leftover from yesterday. If you do not get something you wanted in your first trip, then it may not ever get refilled. Example if there is one chicken on a stick, take or or wait until your next visit. This was with all of the food today. Cold, hard rice from yesterday is not easy to eat (and I am a professional competitive eater). In the past I have found plastic in the chicken and I just brought it to their attention. I then paid full price. The final straw today was standing there for several minutes while waiting to pay. I was the only person in line, with cash out. The lady who is always working there saw me and would not come up to take my money. Only when someone called an order in did she come up to take their order. Then she proceeds to take their order before ringing me up. No more cold food for me, time to start packing my own lunch. Even with zero cooking skills I think I can make something as good. Well at least warmer. The two high school teenage boys that work there are super nice and always friendly. The lady...well at least 10 times she does not say a single word. Rings me up, puts hand out for money, hands my money back. She doesn't even...
Read more(More like 3 & 1/2 stars)Got the chicken Lo mein & their wonton soup. The wontons we're the freshest & best tasting I've ever had! The 3 stars was b/c the "Lo mein" was actually mostly pork fried rice... Huh??? Was not happy about that at all. I love my Lo mein. RICE is not what I ordered or paid for. Note: Well, I just called the restaurant about this. Be forwarned; if you order their Lunch Specials, you get 1/2 rice with (in) the dish - either white or pork fried rice. Your choice. SO, I will come back. Food was tasty, but will not be ordering the Lunch Specials. PS - needed a bit more chix...
Read moreFirst time here, and I got food poisoning. My wife had the chicken and broccoli, i had the Dragon Phoenix. She liked hers very much. The Dragon Phoenix is a mix of chicken amd jumbo shrimp in a szechuan sauce. I liked the chicken but, when i tried the shrimp, they tasted kinda funny. I tried a couple more and they did not get better so i removed them. At about 4am, i awoke to run to the toilet. My suggestion, stay away from the seafood. That shrimp was likely no good, and the served it...
