Auntie Anne's — Restaurant in Lower Swatara Township

I try not to give negative reviews unless warranted. After standing at the register for a few minutes without being acknowledged, it was clear I was interrupting someone’s day when they started to huff and puff they had to do their job by walking over to the register to take my order. After I placed my order and was about to pay when the unenthusiastic unmotivated employee told me they don’t accept American Express. No biggie, some places don’t take it. I’m traveling for work and they only allow us to use their company Amex card so I declined my order and put the bottle of soda back in the fridge. As I was walking away the employee decided to point out the professional signs they have posted saying Amex isn’t accepted and explain how I had time to read the signs before placing the order. I would assume she meant the “tip jar” also to over pay for the amazing customer service I was receiving along with the food. It’s not that big of deal! You put the food away and move on! Went there and experienced racism from the employee working there on 11-2-2023 at approx 3:00 pm. She was very rude. Told me I had to wait until she cooked to ring me up.
