Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Lubbock

Trash in my food: I am very sad to say that this place has gone downhill since 2020, and I’m a pretty frequent customer. Went in there Sunday night to get my usual burrito and my girlfriend accompanied me. I don’t know why but just about every time I’m in there something gets screwed up which I’m pretty prepared to live with it’s normal at this location , but what happened last-night, I could not live with. As I was eating my burrito I was thinking “this is pretty good” which is unusual because probable 1 out of 3 burrito’s has bone or nasty tendons in the chicken. About 3/4 of the way through the burrito I bit into what I thought was another nasty chicken tendon. Instead it turned out to be a large peace of torn plastic wrapper. I was pretty furious. My girlfriend called the manager and he was very helpful for the most part. Asked her “what does it look like”. He granted us a remake of both her meal and mine (they left out her guacamole). I was pretty disgusted. I brought them the piece of plastic I chewed up. Management needs to get this place in some serious shape. Train the workers to do good. Pay them more. I was at Chipotle the other day and was going back and forth trying to decide if I should review this or not. I’m giving two stars, one for the food because Chipotle itself shouldn’t suffer for this employee’s service. She has a piercing on her face, if you see her REQUEST SOMEONE ELSE. First of all it was my first time at this chipotle, she was rude to me about me trying to decide about which salsa to get. Another employee was sweeping and I guess brushed over her foot, ignored my choice of salsa and started yelling at this poor girl. I was absolutely appalled and very uncomfortable. This lady kept yelling at her coworker until I’m assuming the manager came over and the worker decided to pay attention to me again. I was so caught off guard I didn’t think to say anything but if this is how the employees at Chipotle are treated by other coworkers I don’t want to give...

I would give a5 for everything but a few things are annoying right now. My husbands meal came with queso on his bowl. I was asked if I wanted queso. I really didn't but I said ok just a little. Charged$1.70 extra for that little teaspoon. I would have said nope if I knew I would be charged. We bought two extra queso to bring home. We were just going to use it cos we had at home. We were charged $5.60 for two itty bitty maybe two 2oz containers of queso. Adding to our total bill. $7.30 just for a small amount of queso. RIDICULOUS. Learned my lesson don't buy queso anything. Will be back but not for awhile. This left a bad taste in my mouth. I should have said I'm no queso when I saw the size they were giving and the charge they were charging...
