I am an advocate of support local restaurants wherever I reside or travel. However, this place really missed the mark. I really wanted to like the food here but I threw practically everything away. I've eaten at many Mediterranean restaurants and households and this did not meet any criteria. I am not sure of the following:
Regular Gyro sandwich (Gyro Sandwich Beef and Lamb Cooked On a Gyro Skewer, with Lettuce, Tomatoes, and Tzatziki Sauce) that had Feta cheese smeared on the bottom of the pita even though the menu only has Feta on the Supreme Gyro Gyro Oregano Pizza (Same As Zaatar Pizza (Zaatar Pizza Oregano, Onions, Tomatoes & Sumac Mixed In Olive Oil & Baked To Perfection), But with Gyro Meat Added) with a gang load of tomatoes which was not stated on the menu Steamed rice quickly cooked in the microwave (I heard the microwave going) with clumped up uncooked rice Hummus Tahini that was overly oily and tasted very bland Cold and Stale Pita Cold Gyro Meat
Will I return? No, I'd rather save my money. Glad to see that other people had a better...
Read moreWith the new owner, Lite Bite Mediterranean at last deserved the name "Mediterranean".
I am a Mediterranean born and raised person, As a woman from the region who actively cooks, I found it really hard to find good ethnic tastes in Lubbock.

Lite Bite was one of them all those years. By chance we get to meet the new owner and had a chance to taste their food. I can say their food is the best Mediterranean option for Lubbock. Not like the ones you visit in Austin, Dallas but at least they are better than other options in our city. I recommend you to go and taste their renowned menu and better...
Read moreFrom the moment you enter to the moment you leave this place delivers an amazing experience. I brought my wife in today to try Mediterranean food for the first time and boy did they deliver. The employees are extremely kind and attentive and ordering was fast and simple (bonus points for pictures on menu). We ordered the baklava, sampler platter, and a few entrees and everything we had was perfect. The food came in order in a very timely manner and everything tasted fresh and incredible. I have had the pleasure of having homemade Mediterranean food and I must say you can tell this food is made like home and with love. Our new favorite restaurant and we will be regular patrons for the chicken tawouk, the baklava, and sampler platter. Do yourself a favor and visit them for a great meal and experience, well deserving of a...
