I normally like going to this McDonald's, but tonight has changed my mind. I approached the Drive Thru and I got a stern "Go ahead and order". I asked if their ice cream was still available (we've all seen the memes), and she said a stern "Yes". I ordered, asked for a sweet tea, and some ice cream and she told me to pull forward. I did, and when I got to the window, I asked if the tea was sweet (because another McDonald's gave me unsweet instead of sweet) and she said that this tea was sweet. This person at the window was different than the one who took my order. After getting my items, I tasted the tea and it was unsweet, like the other McDonald's. I pulled back into line and I told them it was not sweet, she said sternly "It is sweet tea." (Same person who took my order before) While processing what I just heard, she said " Just pull around to the second window." I said "Okay." And was seeing if it was safe to go. She then said "Just pull out of the line". When I got around, she (the person who took my order) gave me a different cup, and (without thinking) was handing her my cup and she pulled away with her hand up and said that she couldn't take it. I muttered "Okay," and she raced off back inside. I tasted it, and it was sweet this time.
I was upset with the way I was treated here. I understand you might be busy or maybe just having a bad day, but that doesn't mean you have to be rude to people. Read moreLet's be honest for a moment. It is McDonalds. You go here because it is quick,, and relatively cheap. So why the low rating? Well, "extra pickleS means one additional pickle to them, they frequently give out what is very obviously over an hour old food and re-run a burger to try and hide it, there is rarely (if ever) more than a tiny dot of sauce on your burger, even if you order it custom. They treat you like a number rarely uttering a word to you unless confirming your order or total, and they are open "24 hours" except the entire hour that constantly changes times when their system is shut down for rebooting yet it is posted NOWHERE so you never know until you get there. Orders are constantly wrong, and half the time when you tell them "no ice" because you hate being charged a dollar for a soda that costs them $0.05 to fill then they fill it with ice and give you half a cents worth of soda - you STILL get handed a soda with ice as if it is too difficult a request to manage. Spend a few extra bucks and go to Wendy's or Burger King. At least Burger King HAS to care if the order is right since they are facing...
Read moreI cannot even give this McDonald's a half a star. I would be being too generous. I used my app to place an order on Feb 21st, and once I sent it, I realized that it was the wrong location. I called the location where I placed the order, and the lady that picked up, informed me that if I did not pick my order, the money would automatically refund my card in 2-4 hours. Well, here I am March 13th, still waiting for that money to be refunded. I have spoken to corporate office as well as a manager at the location. And they just point the finger at each other. Today I called the corporate office and was told that they r still waiting for store to send paperwork for refund, and the manager (who I swear is a new hire) said that only corporate knows about app and refunds. It's getting really tiring fighting this battle but I will either get my money back or get it back with interest when the Judge orders the refund.
