Slim Chickens — Restaurant in Lubbock

Terrible experience. Ordered the smoky cheddar wrap, waited for a while (although they claim to cook everything to order, so a wait is expected), and was greeted by someone who was clearly new to the job. 1st problem: They took my card before telling me my total. 2nd problem: he hands me my food while telling me they are out of tortillas and asking if that's OK? I say "well I ordered a wrap, so what exactly is in here???" and he clearly doesn't know the menu enough to answer my question. Another guy clarifies that they were out of the cheddar tortillas, but did not tell me what kind of tortilla I was given. I told them it was fine, reminded them that they hadn't given me my drink yet and then pulled forward into a parking space to eat my food. 3rd problem: The food is OK, not the best chicken (I chose grilled) and there's not any ranch in it even though the menu listed ranch as an ingredient in that wrap. 4th problem: twice, while eating my food, I was approached by employees first to ask if I was waiting for food (Well I'm already eating, so no), and then again to bring me food that belonged to someone else. They were so disorganized that they didn't know if people were waiting on food and which vehicle to take orders to. And it was way more expensive than your average...

It's been 4 years since I have been to your establishment my review from 4 years ago wasn't a positive experience to say the least ! But I was craving some chicken strips today, you are right around the corner from me it was 11:15 I took a early lunch. I figured SURELY I will get some good hot food will give this another go. No cars in line or the parking lot just like 4 years ago when I came. I asked if I could sub fries on the 5 piece chicken strip meal and sure for 2.00 more the meal cost me 17.00 bucks. I honestly don't mind the upcharge happy to pay 17 bucks for a good hot meal but what I do mind is opening my box and seeing a few pieces of okra a kids portion for something I payed 2.00 extra for on top of the reg cost of the meal !!! Even worse aside from the okra which I'm sure they had to cook fresh the chicken and gravy had no heat on it what so ever. I mean not even warm. I don't play around with food illness. I don't know how long that chicken had sit at room temp. It was a nope. I have to work for a living so I can pay for these high dollar once in awhile nasty food spends. I ate my few pieces of okra the rest was trash. Two of the coworkers said they WILL NOT eat at this place. Apparently it's a issue. So a kid portion of okra and a drink cost me 17.00 bucks...

I have been going to this location regularly for a few months since they opened the quality as well as consistency have been the main reason for me returning to this location. For the past three times my order had been shorted, on the third time I decided to take action and let the location know that I was unhappy with my service. I called the location first and I believed I was hung up on after asking for a manager. I decided to leave my bad review along with the bad taste in my mouth from poor service using their review service and my receipt code. Not only am I completely satisfied with this location now I am completely impressed. I was called back not even fifteen minutes after my review was placed on their site. The manager explained that the call was disconnected, but apologized and gave me an opportunity to have my meal replaced along with a free desert. The timely manner in which I was contacted, the tone, and just the overall kindness has completely restored my faith in this location.
