I was really hungry last night because i hadn't ate anything during the day except for my breakfast. It was 10 pm when we went to sonic, so i was starving and my blood sugars were dropping. Well, i ordered a #3 with only lettuce, mustard and pickles. My son has ordered his food first and paid for himself. I was impressed on how quick his order came out. So then i ordered mine and thought hopefully mine comes out quick too. It didn't they took a while but that was alright because mine gad 2 orders, it was still great timing. Well, as i got my burger out if the bag, i was looking for some salt and ketchup and of course, nothing in the bag. So we pressed the little red button again and asked for some salt and they brought it out. Well I opened up my burger to put salt in it and i look at my burger then look at my son and he says what now. I said well i asked for my bacon cheese burger with only lettuce, mustard and pickles right? He says yeah i says to him, so wheres the lettuce and pickles? So we pressed that little red button again. I thought man these people are probably frustrated with us already but they answered in a nice voice and we told them what had happened. So they said they get on to it and so they did. Our car hop brings out a bag and hands it over APOLOGIZING for THEIR mistake and when i open the bag he says" can you please check if your order is right?" I saw inside the bag and there was another burger, I opened it up and took a look and i was in awwwwe. I told him " yes it's perfect this time, but i would've been ok with you just bringing out the lettuce and pickles." He looked at me and said, "we keep our customers happy, you have a good night" Ya were awesome last night Sonic on N. University that's why i love coming to you. You DO take care if your customers and are quick about it. Sorry i didn't get any names...
Read moreI love Sonic's happy hour prices; and since it's always happy hour with the app, I go there at least once almost every day. However, I was very disappointed with the service today. It was happy hour and i had to drive around the place to find an open booth. I pushed the button, got the message that my red light was activated and they would be with me shortly, then I waited. I continued to wait while a number of other cars came, got their orders, and left. I stopped a carhop passing by and told her we had been waiting for a while and she said she'd ensure we were served shortly. A guy answered, and I ordered a Rt 44 vanilla Dr Pepper with ez ice and a couple of other items. It was incorrect on the screen, so i was going to correct him when he repeated it back. However, he said the items, the amount, and didn't wait for confirmation. He disconnected. I hit the button again, he asked if he could take my order, and i told him I had just ordered, but it was incorrect. He asked what was wrong, and i told him. Then he repeated it back incorrectly again, i corrected him, and he repeated it back incorrectly again. And again, and again..... I was so frustrated by this time that I drove off and went to a different...
Read moreMay 2, 2023. My husband and I were picking up a delivery order for doordash. The store associate notified us that they were not taking orders but then hung up immediately and didn't give us a chance to tell him that the order was for a delivery. We pushed the button again and had to interrupt him and rush to tell him that we were picking up delivery not ordering for ourselves. He told us he'd check back in with us in a moment. He did not. We pushed the button again 10 min later. He answered and told us they would be sending it out soon. 5 min later we got the order and when we tried saying thank you the girl just ran off. The car next us was having the same issue with being cut off by the guy and he hung up on her as well. With out even giving her a chance to simply ask a question about her future order she had placed online through her app. So so rude. We can understand if your not able to take orders but it is your responsibility to answer questions to your guests. Hanging up on people is never the right to do.
