Firehouse Subs Texas Tech — Restaurant in Lubbock

Normally the service is amazing, but today was very aggravating. I had called to place a takeout order and was on hold for ten minutes (the ten minutes wasn’t that big of a deal), but when I had gotten there I had payed for my order and one of the women working in the food line said in a hateful tone to the cashier it wasn’t ready yet when she asked. The cashier turned to me and said in the sweetest way that my order would be ready shortly. So, I waited for my order to be ready sitting at one of the two tops near the pick up sign. About 20 minutes went by and nothing was put out by the pick up area nor did anyone call out my name knowing I had already checked in to get my pick up order. I went up to the counter 10 minutes later and my order had been sitting there for at least 20 minutes. Ok so I've heard about firehouse subs for awhile and I wanted to see what all the hype is about.

So the service was great. I feel like the atmosphere needs more vibes and more theme.

When I walked in with all the hype, I was expecting one of the best places in town.

But if im completely honest. I ordered a Philly Cheese steak and im not kidding. This was literally the worst Philly I've had in my life. It had mayo instead of cream cheese, its supposed to have red, green bell peppers and onions.

But it just had the green peppers, onion and mayo.

This was sooooo bland. I mostly tasted mayo and gravy like meat. There was nothing in it that popped and made me go wow...

I wish I could get my money back. I ordered 3 Phillies for my family for the first time and it rounded to $45. That's insane for something so bland.

Sorry but yall need a new recipe...

So first off they changed our order without speaking to us because they didn't think we'd order 3 sandwiches. The girl at the register then argues with my wife saying we only paid for one, like we still didn't order all of it. Then one of them is wrong, then they forgot the brownies we ordered. My wife heard other orders being made wrong and the manager saying to send it anyway because he didn't want alot of food waste. They left my wife on hold for curbside so long she had to go in and get it... plus side the food was pretty good.

Edit: A guy named clay said he would duplicate the meal for free whenever we were ready to come back and was super nice about it. My wife called today to try to get the food and the girl who answered the phone was rude and unhelpful. Long story short, we didn't get our...
