Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in Lubbock

I think I’ve only written 3 or 4 google reviews, but this Chick-fil-A location was bad enough that I’m going to take the effort. I hope the franchise owner reads this because you need to make some changes here. Chick-fil-A only gives out a few licenses each year, and this one is wasted on you if this is how you run things.

First, the voice-in-the-box taking our order was rushing my pregnant wife, and that came across as rude to me. When we drove around the corner, his lazy self was planted on his posterior on the wall, talking into his headset instead of walking down the line of cars like one usually sees at a busy Chick-fil-A.

Next, we had a couple bottles and snack wrappers to throw away, my wife politely asked the girl that handed us our drinks “hey do y’all have a trash can?”. The items were not loose, we had put them in the drink holder she gave us for our drinks. She sarcastically smiled and said “oh, no we don’t.” She then let go of our food and turned away, almost letting it fall out of my wife’s hand because my wife did not fully have her hand on the bag (on account of having the trash in her other hand).

I went inside to throw the items away, and to my surprise, I found that this location does indeed have a trash can.

The final straw though was the food. My fries tasted like they’d been cooked 8 hours prior, the chicken in my sammich was stale, and my wife’s salad did not have toppings or a fork.

I’d give this location no stars if I could. Never had a bad Chick-fil-A before in my life, this was the only bad one I’ve...

I would feel welcomed whenever I walked in this restaurant, which made me forget the last minutes' sadness. Staffs here were always well trained to show their kindness and courtesy. I have to admit that this Chick-fil-A would always face exceptionally high volume of clients, especially during rush hours. However, I never find messy tables, greasy floor or wet restroom here. Staffs here would also be calm to deal with anything emergent, like a little boy vomiting on the floor accidentally. They even would remember my name since I used to come here 2-3 times a week which lasted for 9 months. I LOVE our staffs! Though I left LBK nearly half a year ago, I still could remember some of their names as well now.

Foods here were delicious and clean. As a fans who nearly tried all species here, I strongly recommend choices listed below.

Entrees: Spicy Deluxe Sandwich, Chick-n-strips, and Grilled Chicken Sandwhich; Salad: Spicy Southwest; Sides: Fries, Noodle Soup and Side Salad; Sauces: Polynesian, Honey Mustard and Zesty Buffalo; Others: Chocolate Cookies(6 pcs package) and Ice Cream.

Ok ok, I know I should have given this one 5 stars, well done guys, but to my defense if you gonna serve any kind of fried potato (waffle fries in this particular fast food restaurant) would it kill ya to throw in a couple packets of KETCHUP?? Yes even tho we didn't ask for it and wasn't asked if we needed any either. Because we were HOWEVER, asked if we needed SAUCES for 2 chicken sandwich meals..so trying to be quick with our order I said the first thing that came to mind as far as sauces go and that was ranch. They didn't mind putting SIX ranches in..good job btw, but no ketchup. It's universal. I know you get me.😏 Oh, and for 2 meals me and my Rich got ONE NAPKIN. ONE. Like just one.. singular..a SINGLE napkin. I knew about the tissue paper shortage a while back but is there a napkin shortage now? It seems like every restaurant has been forgetting to put any in with our meals. Now one DOES count as only one..but that doesn't count as napkins. So for those 2 reasons which seem small to some but big to me, 4 stars..because yall had the fastest drive-thru I had ever been in, not even joking..and because the guy had a smile on his face the whole time we were at the winda and they were fast, got the food right, it was hot fresh and delicious. Good job team! Next time I'll make sure to ask for ketchup and napkins and see...
