EZPAWN — Local services in Lubbock

First this is the smallest EzPawnshop I have encountered. You walk in and three people are in line which is like right at the door.👎

But this store earned 5🌟starts. I was assisted by Isiah which happens to be the manager on duty. Why they deserved the 5 ⭐stars 1st they greeted us secondly they helped everyone in a timely manner and they are more focus on customers then on the sale. I stated to Isaiah I would not be pawning my jewelry but I want to know the prices, gold weight, the quality the purraty the colors of the diamonds. Now, I had just left Kay's jewelry you can verify that from my reviews here on Google or my FB. K's supplied me with a statement showing the value of the rings the weight of each diamond. So I wanted to how far off the shop would be. No disappointment here, his view and inspection was as K's but the offer price to pawn then was super low. But he took time to explain the process of EzPawn on prices and the more you come and pawn the same item earring trust the more the payouts are. Even though Isaiah knew I wasn't going to Pawn my items he focused on me not the line, he did call for Sunshine to come assist other customers, he was careful in handling my jewelry, he spoke about the stones a how clear they were and the K's inspector should have included the clarity of the diamonds. He had the same knowledge as a High-End employee as Kay's. It's like this, if he offers $689 to pawn one of my rings and they have to keep in mind what they must try and get out the ring should I not show up to pick it up and pay back the loan. So the ring is actually more than 50% more of value to them. So you know to sale that ring for double the price👏. Overall, the store is small yet well kept. The employees are nice and helpful. The manager deserves a raise, No I didn't ask what he makes, but the place was packed and it didn't both him and he defined another employee I made a statement on that he didn't need a lunch break he should stay and help shorten the line. No fuss No Worries. He said he has been here all morning and Sunshine will be out in a moment💯👍👍. Marcos from the location on North University in Lubbock, Tx absolutely went above and beyond for me today, he really surprised me!! I had been looking to use my warranty on a Ps5 I bought for my son back in December I called the store I bought it from multiple times to see if they had gotten anymore in and unfortunately it was a negative every time. I finally started calling other stores and Marcos happened to answer one of the phone calls instead of him just tell me NO he took my information down and told me he would be on a look out for one and call me once he found one . Well a few weeks past and I think I had given up at this point in calling back to the stores since the Ps5 is in really high demand right now , and out of no where I was at work and I got a call from Marcos saying he got one I was so surprised I thought he had forgot about me since I hadn’t heard for him I think I even told him that lol . It’s so hard to find good customer service now a days and I along with my 13 year old are truly greatfull to him our warranty was almost up and we were running out of time and he held on to his word. My husband and I visit Lubbock at least once a month and we like to go seeking good deals at the local Pawn Shops in Lubbock. I have to say, that on our many visits to these pawn shops, we have learned which pawn shop is our favorite. We love going to EZPAWN on University because we always find items we are interested in and at great prices. Our favorite associate is Marcos. He has a wonderful knowledge of everything in the store and can guide you to the right purchase of any item that you may be looking for. He is very friendly and keeps up with the requests of his customers. My husband collects certain guitars and Marcos will let him know when there is a new guitar available for purchase in case he is interested. Marcos knows his products and he knows how to treat his customers. We come back every time we visit Lubbock just to see Marcos and to see what he has to offer in the store. EZPAWN should be proud to have an employee like Marcos to represent their name. Without people like him, there wouldn't be as many happy customers as there are that keep coming back.
