Panda Express — Restaurant in Lubbock

Not bad, overall! The food was pretty affordable and the staff are awesome.

My first time coming here, I wasn't sure what to get but they give you a chose of up to three entrees and a side to form a plate. Heck, they even had chopsticks, which is something simple but thoroughly appreciate when it comes to oriental restaurants. Drinks don't come with the plates, unfortunately... I decided on the Beef and Broccoli, Honey Walnut Shrimp (which cost just a little bit extra), and the Chow Mein. The Chow Mein was actually rather soft and not all crispy, like Lo Mein, which I actually liked...but it didn't taste that good. The rice, which I turned around and got a side of after my meal, was actually pretty delicious. Besides that everything else on the plate was great. The beef was nice and tender, the broccoli was nice, and the shrimp had a nice hint of sweetness that I enjoyed.

Would definitely come here again...but next time I'm ditching the 'Chow Mein' and going...

I pulled away from the drive thru before checking my order. My son checked it just as we left the parking lot and discovered we were missing one item. I immediately turned back into the lot and went back through the drive thru. The young lady working the drive thru immediately accused us of falsely claiming that we were missing an item. She then claimed it was in the bag when she handed it to me. I told her that I literally turned right back into the lot, and had no reason to lie about not receiving an item. The manager was at the window during the conversation. She looked into the bag, and at the receipt, and proceeded to tell me that the item was not listed. I told her to look again because it was listed. She and the other young lady could not get their stories straight. I told her to just keep the other items and refund my debit card. She advised that, that was not an option. My first and last time visiting this establishment. Hopefully others will not have to...

We have been eating at this panda location for over 4 years. But until they get a better manager there we will not go back. 30 minutes after eating the orange chicken and the walnut shrimp, my wife was throwing up, 10 hours after she ate, diarrhea hit. This went on for 3 days. We called the manager at this location explaining that what my wife had made her sick. The manager was very rude saying oh we go through a lot of training for food poisoning and it takes 24 hours to hit. But if you’re throwing up after 30 minutes and that was the only thing you have had all day. It can be food poisoning. Could have been under cooked chicken and seafood gets bacteria super bad if not handled or cooked properly. We called the district manager and they apologized for the rudeness and unprofessional behavior of the manager at that location. And it wasn’t about getting a free meal, we didn’t want anyone else getting sick. So now we will be looking for a...
