Volkano BBQ & Sushi is officially our new spot. All you can eat sushi and meats for one price and it actually tastes fresh. We tried almost every meat and kept the grill going the whole time. Sliced fatty beef melts, beef bulgogi hits that sweet garlic vibe, boneless short rib and NY strip stayed juicy, and the garlic samgyubsal and spicy pork belly were crazy good. On the sushi side the Red Dragon Roll was one of my favorite bites I’ve ever had. The cooked Dragon Roll is pure comfort and the Sakura Roll is my second favorite on the whole menu for that crunchy tempura and avocado combo. Service was on it the entire time. Plates kept coming, drinks stayed full, and not once did we feel rushed. We sat there and grubbed out haha. End it with the fried cheesecake because that thing is dangerous in the best way. Easy 10 out of 10 and I’m already planning the next visit.

Volkano Korean BBQ & Sushi was a great experience. Service was excellent and the portions of meat and chicken were huge (definitely filling). The chicken had a pretty spicy kick, so if you’re into hot food, you’ll like that. The owner even went out of his way to bring me 3 pieces of salmon nigiri (not even on the menu), which was super kind and really made the night. The vibe was awesome, K-pop playing, lights dimmed, and the staff even danced for birthdays. It’s $32 a person for dinner (drinks are $3 extra), so yeah a little pricey, but worth it for the food and overall experience. Sorry my photo isn’t the best, I was more focused on just enjoying it all. Definitely recommend supporting this spot, show them some love 😝❤️‍🔥

A true hidden gem This is my new favorite restaurant in town! Volkano exceeded my expectations entirely. The ingredients they serve are high quality and absolutely delicious. I am shocked a place like this even exists in Lubbock. The customer service is amazing! Peter was our server. He was very polite and quick! He helped us get started on our KBBQ platter because it was our first time in. The very best customer service I’ve ever received in Lubbock. The restaurant itself is well-organized and so clean. There wasn’t even a crumb on the ground. I will be coming back! More people need to know about this place.
