Chickies Tasty Treats — Restaurant in Lubbock

I have celiac disease, and I haven’t had a good dessert place to go to and enjoy in a very long time that was safe for me to eat at.

This place however is the best gluten free dessert place I have encountered. First, the woman at the register also has celiac disease, so she understood immediately how seriously to take cross contamination, and she pointed me to the safe options for me to eat.

When I tell you I had some bonbons and a gluten free macaroon: snicker flavored. It was the most beautiful taste I have ever had. All of the desserts I tried were fantastic.

Most gluten free desserts are mediocre at best, but here they are absolutely delicious. It made me feel normal again.

For all the celiac people in Lubbock or near Lubbock, you have got to try out this place. It is very clean, well managed, and you will have the best experience ever.

I was looking for a place to eat my feelings and boy did I find it. I went in and was greeted by the sweet smell of candy and I was visually feasting on the display case showing the bonbons and the chocolates and the macarons and the cupcakes and other sweet treats. And I could clearly read all of the labels, which I was curious about because I haven't seen some of these flavor combinations before. I got two bonbons and two macaroons and I ate them and immediately felt better and I will definitely go back here because the girl that checked out my order was very nice and their food was good. 10/10...

We came in today and your place was PACKED. My hubby asked a group of bikers if they were in line, one said no, and I said "Well, that's sad. You should be!" 😅😂 Haha! EVERYBODY needs to try Chickie's. We stop every time we are in town from an hour away. We bring folks from out of town. We take treats to others. This place is 1 in a million. Delicious is an understatement. This woman works magic...
