Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Lumberton

This is an update to the original Review. I will not be coming back to this location we repeatedly had one issue after another and last night we ordered and today my boyfriend and I both have food poisoning. We are certain it came from here because neither of us ate anything else for the day.

Don’t eat here.

We continually have problems with this location. Every time I order carry out there’s mysteriously some issue they can’t find the ticket they can’t find the order one of the times I ended up having to double pay online and then again in store because they swore up and down it never came through which I’m not sure that could be true, and the pizza despite it being fresh just really was a sub par pizza from papa John’s it’s expensive to eat out and getting floppy pizza that looks like it came from the take and bake section at Walmart is an issue for me. If I wanted my pizza as thinly done from dough all the way through the sauce the cheese and the toppings I’d go buy a $3 pizza from Walmart. Currently a large stuffed crust is typically 18.99. The only redeeming quality is the employees. They are very polite and many of these issues are beyond their control despite many issues I do think if corporate changed some things this place would...

I ordered pizza and wings from this place and they were raw. The first time I ever ordered from this location, the wings were also raw but I tried a second time to give them the benefit of a doubt. I trashed them the first time but this time I decided to call for a remake. I was told that the only way they would remake them was if I paid another $2.75 delivery fee. I had already paid this amount and tipped the driver. I refused to pay the fee so then manager Jennifer gets on the phone and says, "I will remake them but you will have to pay the $2.75 delivery fee." I explained that the wings are raw and she says that they are not raw they are already precooked and all they do is run them through the oven. How does she tell me they're not raw when I'm looking at red blood run from one of the drumsticks. It wasn't about the $2.75.. To me, it was the principle of it. She refused to remake the food unless I paid her again for delivery. I asked for the number to corporate and told her that she was providing horrible customer service to be a manager. Ordered 2 Papadias online and chose carryout. Went to pick them up and they were not ready. There were only 2 people working and the guy in the back was saying he was supposed to have clocked out 2 hrs prior and the girl said you can't leave me here by myself. The girl that was behind the counter was making or pressing out dough and told me it would be 15 mins before my order would be ready. So, I went ahead and paid. I went outside and waited in my car. It was more than 30 minutes before my order was ready and when I got home with it, one of the Papadias, which was the Philly cheesesteak, had more onions and green peppers than steak. Opened it up and that's all you could see, barely any steak. Very disappointed in the service and the preparation of the order. Seriously, thinking of not returning and will not recommend...
