Bravo Pleasant Pizza Inc — Restaurant in Lumberton

Stopped here on the way home from vacation as we were still about 2.5 hours from home. We were overcharged on our order. When I mentioned this to one employee she agreed with me and said this happens often. That I should go to the counter and bring it up and that she knew of one person having the overages refunded (really, just one?). When I went to the counter to address the issue another employee agreed that I was overcharged. She was polite and said I don't recall taking your order. I said you didn't, it was the owner. She just rolled her eyes and was like let me get him as he has to do the refund. Prior to me saying anything to him his first words were I ringed you up correctly. I don't make mistakes and I need to make a profit. I proceeded to tell him he charged us extra for toppings we didn't receive. He disagreed and continued to say he did nothing wrong and that his prices were fair and how long he's been in business locally and everyone just knows what he does. I told him I'm not local, his practice for these "charges weren't listed on the menu anywhere (which he agreed), nor did he disclose these extra charges with me when placing an order (which he agreed). At that time he tried keeping my receipt and never once apologized or attempted to rectify the situation. He also refused to give me an itemized receipt.

Very disappointing! The first problem that occurred were the drinks…so I simply told the waitress nicely that my husband wanted sweet tea not Mountain Dew…this lead to a very defensive response in which she said “ well…that’s what’s on here” ok but I’m telling you now that’s not what we ordered. Then they bring us the food and forgot all about my daughters chicken fingers. She says “oh they’re bringing them up now” I work at a restaurant and that usually means they forgot about the chicken fingers completely. Of course they had just come up because they were so flaming hot that she couldn’t even eat them. They also tasted like Tyson precooked chicken. The salad is brown lettuce with one cucumber! In what universe is that a salad. And to have to pay 2$ for a small plate of lettuce smh. Then you have to pay for every refill which is a small styrofoam cup. I got the lasagna which tasted like it was from the freezer section. Garlic bread was just a sub roll cut in half and wasn’t even toasted. Worst experience ever. Went with a group of people, I ordered a small pizza with 3 toppings and waited for 30 minutes and apparently they LOST my pizza. I demanded a refund as the owner looked dumbfounded looking for my pizza instead of giving me what I asked for until I finally told him I don't want the pizza anymore and I want my money back. The group of people I asked for ordered 5 subs and a small pizza with 2 toppings and they only got 3 of the 5 that they asked for. Once they got the 2 that they didn't get, they didn't even fix it correctly they gave us the wrong thing, we were so overwhelmed we just left with the wrong order because the owner acted as if he didn't know what was going on and we just didn't feel like dealing with him anymore.
