I've shopped 60+ ALDI supermarkets and they are generally fabulous. This one was much like the others. Dry goods at the entrance leading to produce and then dairy coolers along the back with deli and then meats.
We were going to go to Wendy's and decided to stop here instead. It was super easy to pick up a nice loaf of bread, some sliced cheese, some sliced turkey and even a couple of tomatoes. So now it's not just today's lunch, but tomorrow's lunch too! Easy, healthy and less expensive.
Yes, ALDI gets a lot of its low cost from the shopping trolley thing and you need to bring your own bags or reuse theirs. And yes, you need to unload your groceries onto the belt properly so that the more delicate items are scanned last. That's on you.

They carry items like sheets and towelss and even outside items like grills sometimes! These items change weekly and are seasonal items. Best prices on dairy items and meats. Prices this low can really be a huge Blessing to a family budget! I have only visited the one in Lumberton, but I'm so happy the one on Wilmington has just opened.
